Memories

Jane got off her horse. Her feet, which were only on a couple of sandals, slowly stepped on the rocks by the river to Abelard’s place, then sat beside him. Jane’s eyes instinctively searched for Abelard’s eyes. It wasn’t like when their first met or when he was fighting. This time he looked really messed up and even Jane could feel the overflowing emotion inside Abelard.

“Hey, you should be recovering yourself, le…” A soft voice of a young girl attempted to lure Abelard before succeeding with a compelling cut.

“I know… I know… Please, this time, let me stay outside for a while.” Abelard answered confusedly as he looked into Jane’s eyes.
