“Oh, please!” Mason sneered.

Tamara burst into laughter. “What? What is ‘please’? Are you saying she’s beautiful?”

“Who’s beautiful? Have you seen her lately? There’s nothing attractive about her. She never takes care of herself, always messy, doesn’t dress well—and did I mention she’s dirty?”

“She’s dirty too? Seriously?” Tamara cracked up.

“Yes. And anytime I try to say something, she runs off like, ‘Ohh, Alisha is crying! Oh my baby!’” He mimicked her tiny voice and chuckled loudly, joined by Tamara, who couldn’t stop laughing.

“She really did raise my child well. Once the divorce is finalized, the three of us can finally be a family,” Tamara said with a wicked smile.

So it was true—Alisha was her child all along!

Eloise clenched her fists, fighting the urge to scream. They had kept her in the dark for all these years!

“I’ve already got the divorce papers ready,” Mason said coldly. “Honestly, she’s not the kind of woman I’d want to show off and say, ‘That’s my wife.’”

' Bastard!' Eloise lips trembled, her breath quivered.

She was dead but everything felt suffocating, her chest tightened with intense pain, one she wished to claw out with her fingers. Tears brimmed in her eyes.

This was the man she loved, the man she gave her everything, including her company. Mason was just a manager who became the CEO after they got married.

' I'm not the kind of wife you want?' her voice trembled as she said in disbelief.

Fury scorched through her cell.

Tamara grinned, loving every bit of what she was hearing. “But Mason, can you wait a little bit longer?” she pouted.

“A little bit longer for what?”

“Before divorcing her.”

“Why? We have everything we want now. Why delay it? And more,” he took a strand of her hair, kissed it, and inhaled. “I can’t wait to have you as my wife and show off your beauty to the world.”

Tamara rolled her eyes, blushing. Her heart beat so fast she almost forgot what she had to say. She cleared her throat and pouted—an expression Mason found adorable.

“It’s not that I don’t want that, but you know I still want to maintain my beauty. And I don’t like stress.”

“But I’m not going to stress you. Who said I won’t take good care of you? You’ve got nothing to worry about,” Mason assured her.

“I know… but Alisha is still a baby, and babies can be so stressful…” she dragged the words. “Let Eloise keep taking care of her. I’m not ready for sleepless nights.”

She feigned a sad expression that melted Mason’s heart.

“Hahahaha… hahahaha…”

Eloise laughed hysterically to herself, tears falling like a dry waterfall. In the end, she had lost.

She lost everything.

You ruined me. You looked me in the eye, watched me rock her to sleep, watched me kiss her scraped knees, sing to her, call her ours—and you said nothing.

You let me grieve a lie while smiling in my face.

And when I caught you with her, you didn’t even flinch.

Eloise screamed in her heart.

It was all lies—

The lies you happily fed me, the lies you made me build my world on.

You knew all along.

She knew all along.

That baby wasn’t mine, and you let me mourn the one I never got to hold… while raising someone else’s.

She wept bitterly, gritting her teeth with anger and pain. She wanted to charge at them and rip out their throat, but her hands only went through them.

Was it too late?

Maybe. Cause now she's dead.

If only she could have a chance, a chance to live again, she would never marry Mason.

No. She would drag both of them straight to hell.

And just then—Her soul was suddenly yanked back—back to the crash site—and slammed into her body once more.

“Please…” she begged. “Give me one more chance. Just one. I’ll right my wrongs. I’ll make them regret everything. Please!!” she cried as everything around her began to fade.

With that, her vision went black, and Eloise took her last breath.

The moment Eloise died, her grandfather’s wristwatch—clutched tightly in her hand—suddenly stopped.

Then, without warning, the hands began to spin backward—fast—until they stopped at 12:00 PM.

“ Here.” Antonio handed her a bottle of water with the cap taken off. “ Thanks,” Eloise mumbled as she took it from him. Antonio’s gaze remains fixed on her; she's been hanging her head since the explosion. Even when Oliver was asking how she knew, she didn't utter a word. He had to step in by taking her out of the area and telling Oliver to go home that he'd get back to him. He took his seat beside her. “ Are you feeling better now?” He asked after she drank a little. She nodded. A second of silence followed. “ Do you want to talk about it? About what happened earlier.” Eloise’s breath slowed. “ You won't believe me.” “ You can't be sure.” “ I am sure. Everything will seem so absurd and impossible to you.” “Well, isn't that explosion evidence already? That you're telling the truth.” She looked at him, hesitating. “ I came back in time.” Another second of silence followed. “ What do you mean?” She swallowed, looking away from him. Her fist clenched against her the bott

“ They're not picking, both of them are not..” “ Keep trying, please keep trying?” Eloise cut in desperately, her body shaking as she kept looking out of the window. “ Can you please tell me what's going on?” Laera asked, panicking. “ You're scaring me real bad.” “ What's going on is that the two of them are in danger.” She choked on, hitting her finger. ‘ How could I not have known this since the beginning? It was so clear; the dream has always been about him.’ Her finger trembled as she thought in her mind. “ We're here.” The driver arrived just then. She bolted out of the car the instant the driver pulled into the parking spot. Hearing Laera's shout and call behind her. She scurried through the port, her heart racing faster than her legs, but before she could get any closer, she was stopped by the security. They eyed her from head to toe with their face twisted. Her being in a hospital gown and barefoot made one of them start calling the medical centers. “ How may we help

Eloise winced as she stirred awake. Some part of her body feels weak and painful. As she slowly fell into consciousness, she felt the warmth from her hand. Someone was holding her, tight and firm like they were afraid she'd slip away. She slowly opened her eyes in that direction. “ El?” She heard his voice full of worry. “ Antonio.” She called his name weakly. “ Yes, yes, baby, I'm here.” Her eyes opened fully to see his face twisted with worry. His brow was furrowed. His hair was all messy. His face was pale and full of exhaustion. It made her heart ache. She looked around to figure out where they were. “ You're in the hospital, let me get the doctor.” Antonio quickly got on his feet but she held him. “ I'm okay.” She smiled softly. He sat back on the chair beside the bed, placed his head on her hand, and struggled to swallow down through his dry throat. “ I'm sorry.” He muttered, “ I'm so sorry I was late.” She forced herself to turn to his direction and rubbed his

“ Things are not good at all, Shawn. No one wants to lose the project, and we all know Antonio as a man of his word,” Vale said to Shawn over the phone. “ What are you saying, once Zade becomes the CEO, he'd have the power to keep the contract signed.” Shawn tried to convince. “ That's the problem, no one trusts Zade's capability, he's never handled any business or company before.” “ So are you saying I give up?” “ What I'm saying is, you can't dispose of Antonio being the CEO.” Shawn gritted his teeth before hanging up the phone. He shouted in rage and smashed the glass cup of wine in his hand against the wall. “ I've done everything! Why can't I defeat him, why!?” He yelled. Still fuming, his phone buzzed with a call. He glanced at the screen to see Dayse's name and ignored it. The phone kept buzzing, and after the third time she called, he got frustrated and picked it up. “ Hey baby, I've been calling you..” “ What do you want?” He yelled over the phone. “ He

“ Stop!” Laera screamed. “ Please, I'm begging you, Jeremy, with everything you believe in, please don't do it. I swear I'd love you, no, I love you, you're the only one for me please don't hurt her.” She cried desperately. Eloise trembled as she felt the sharp knife cut her flesh a little. Her body shook with fear, and tears gathered in her eyes. ‘ Antonio. Antonio where are you?’ she cried in her mind. “ Why do I feel like you love her more than you love me?” Jeremy muttered sadly. “ Look at you crying out your eyes for your friend and saying things you don't mean. It really makes me want to kill her.” He grabbed Eloise's hair tighter. “ No, no, no, that's not the reason. I swear.” “ Then what's the reason?” “ Because I'm worried about you,” Laera said. He chuckled. “ Worried about me?” She nodded. “ Yes, because her husband is a crazy man. There's nothing he's not capable of, he's insane.” “ I'm also capable of anything.” “ Not like Antonio, he'd kill you, Jeremy. I don

“ No, please, Elly doesn't know anything about this, going out with Oliver was my decision.” “ No, it wasn't.” Jeremy shook his head, panting. “ I swear it was, Elly didn't even know until recently that I'm seeing him. It was my decision to sleep with him.” “ Don't lie to me!” He yelled. “ You'd never do that to me, you wouldn't betray me.” Eloise choked out a laugh. “ Elly,” Laera called in relief. Eloise managed to move, but every part of her body aches with pain. She groaned, chuckled as she sat up with her hands and legs still tied. She looked up at Jeremy with fire in her eyes. “ You can't even accept the truth?” She asked with a mocking smirk. “ Stop, don't provoke him.” Laera pleaded. Jeremy's nose flared, his eyes blazed with anger at Eloise. “ You think killing me would make her start loving you or what?” Eloise asked, glancing at the knife as if daring him to do it. “ You just don't shut up, do you?” “ No.” She shook her head grinning. She tasted iron on her
