Riele's POV

Lily finally came out of class like She was chased by ma enraged zombie

"Phew!!!" She breathed out "I thought you left me"

"Are you mad at me Riele"

"No, I am not"

" Okay, ya the bestest friend in the whole world" she said smiling" thanks"

Lily was sometimes annoying but she was sweet hearted and I loved her a lot.

"You owe me a big one"

"I know and am gonna treat you out today after I get my car from the garage" 

" I'll take you clubbing"

" You know I don't like clubs lily, so no"

"Pls" she did the puppy eyes accurately "I promise it would be fun, you'll never regret it"

" It's almost the end of the semester, I need to study hard okay" I lied " I don't also like late outings" 

"Riele, I promise we will be home early, you won't even notice you left"

"okay" I agreed cause it's been months since I left my house and my mom was on a two month business trip so I might as well enjoy myself now. I just hope no one tells her when she comes back since those nosy neighbors always love reporting her

" Yipppeeeeeee" she yelled like a 5 year old whose mom just agreed to get her a puppy. She pulled my tighter giving me a last hug and kisses my cheeks.

"Am also gonna see mason today, I miss he's cute smile so much" she confessed as she talked about mason and the cute teddy bear he bought her. I couldn't help but be reminded of Robert even though I didn't like him the way he wanted, I still wanted him around me. He seemed sweet and kindhearted.

I drove lily to the garage behind her house and on my way home listened to 'all the way' by Megan Trainor. My favorite song as I sang along

When I got home, I took a quick shower and fell on my bed without even doing my assignments.

It was 6pm and I was hungry. I walked out of my room and sat on the kitchen counter and then I noticed my mom making tea for herself

"Mom, you didn't tell me you will be coming back today" 

"Well I'm back sweetie, I finished my deal with the fashion company in Paris yesterday"

" Okay" it was always awkward having mom around the house because I was already used to her not being here.

"Sweetie tell me, how was school" my mom sat next to me on the kitchen counter sipping her tea like a Britain queen.

"It was great" I told her about Robert and what I did the rest of the day skipping the part where I was scolded by miss lily.

It was 6:30pm, I left my mom to go get dressed knowing that lily will be here anytime soon. When I came down the stairs again my mom started at me confused

"I'm going out with Lily today" I confessed

"Why didn't you tell me"

" I forgot, BYE" I said hearing Lily's familiar car honk

"Be back before ten" she yelled since I was already half way out.

I didn't even plan to stay that long. I jumped into the car and Lily zoomed of with a smile on her face.

Alexander's POV

I and Damien, my beta walked around the pack since there was absolutely nothing to do and I had finished all my meetings and it was also my duty as supreme alpha to monitor the activities of my pack. 

It was going really well till I perceived a strange aura. It was like a white light in the dark, I stared at Damien who also had a questioning look on his face.

Then something happened, I felt like I was obligated to make her mine and protect her with all I got and I prayed it wasn't what I thought.

"Damien, get Hope"

Hope was the only witch alive and I for all had her in my pack. It made the other packs jealous but I really didn't care. 

"Why" he asked 

"Because I asked you too" he mind texted her and walked away in a hurry to find her.

Damien arrives with hope, who had am annoyed looked on her face and it was obvious she was getting her beauty treatment.

"Who better have a good reason for telling you stupid side kick to drag me roughly out of my beauty care otherwise I'll choke both of you to death" she threatened.

" Check with your little weird crystal ball if I have a mate now"

" Why, did you get a mate now, is it a human, maybe it's a vampire too" she said her crazy thoughts out loud

" Mia" she yelled out loudly

" Yes ma'am" 

" Get my crystal ball"

Almost in a gifty Mia was back with the crystal ball hope closed her eyes slowly, saying words only her and Mia understood.

After 10 mins of incantations she raised her head up with a small smile

"You have a mate" 

I smiled a bit knowing that the Divine being had kept me waiting long enough.

"She's a human" my smile was shattered and so was my heart and head. Why was I given a human mate out of all the races why humans. The ones who killed my family, the weak fools who wanted to dominate the earth and by that destroyed almost all our families including theirs. They didn't even care to protect their own race they just wanted to dominate and kill.

"Cat got ur tongue" she asked with a smirk.

"No.., noo..... 

It can't be. I refuse to subject myself to this" I yelled out angrily.

" Let's leave him alone. He needs time" said Damien who walked out on me and hope just had that smirk on her face and I just wanted to skin her alive.

"Bye Damien. I'll tell Adam to get your mate here" she said as she winked at me slowly.
