At the hilltop

She became flabbergasted as she saw him walking away angrily.

"Wasn't that why we're here? Why is he angry?" She asked inaudibly.

"Amos! Wait for me!" She called as she ran over to him.

She stood in front of him and he stopped and looked away from her.

"Are you jealous?" She asked with a smile.

"I'm not. Why would I be?" He asked with a scoff.

"If you like me already, you can just tell me so I can consider you to be on the list," she said and they both laughed.

"I don't like you, but I'm concerned about you. You don't deserve to be hurt," he said with all sincerity.

Her heart sank as she got lost in his eyes and she opened her mouth to speak but the words became stuck.

"Thanks for being concerned about me. You're sweet," she said and planted a peck on his cheek.

His lips broke into a smile and he touched his cheek while she giggled.

"Come on, where are we going?" She asked, climbing on his back.

"Let Me take you to somewhere you'll love," he said.

"What are we waiting for?" She asked
