CHAPTER TWENTY ONE

The palace was in panic as the sound of a pregnant woman screaming in labor in the late of the nights echoed the halls.

It was cold outside, heavy with rain and thunder as my hair scattered, my breathing hard as the midwives supported me for the birth of my son.

Arthur was nowhere to be seen after a messenger had been sent to the outer walls as quickly as possible to inform him of the birth of his son while Gwen stood by my side with the midwives as I screamed.
