Vanessa's POV

We were all in Cole's home, holding an in-house party or celebration with just the three of us.

I loved Cole's house because it had a very nice tone with the yellow and warm incandescent light and the artefacts that were arranged in his living room.

“How did you know it was going to work?” Cole asked.

“Sheldon is sloppy and stupid, and that goes the same for Lola also. They are so predictable and naive. I said with so much confidence because they deserved what they got.”

“It was the look on her face when she saw how much of a scum Sheldon was that really got me laughing.” Evelyn giggled.

Cole's face had gone cold to the statement Evelyn made. He was a hardcore man who hated Lola, but then he started to think that ruining her wedding plans was the right thing.

“You feel bad for them?” I asked.

I could see how Cole tried to shrug his pity away and put on some hard skin, but I couldn't deny concern about the issue. He was strong till the whole plan got finished, so what hap
