~Viviana~

Our wedding passed by like bliss. I hardly paid attention to everything that we rehearsed, the vow I’ve written, the food we’ve taken time to choose, and the toast by Nico and Tina for Roman and me.

Everything was perfect, I’m sure, because now I’m wearing my wedding ring and have Roman’s name.

All I wanted to do was get Roman alone. If it was up to me, I would invite him to miss out on our own reception and act as though we’re eloping teenagers, get away with him. But I can’t do that.

Nana Teresa was here, and she’d kill us if we did - literally. My mom, who walked me down the aisle and handed my hand to Roman with teary eyes, might understand our eagerness to be alone, but that won’t stop her from chastising us. We cannot just abandon our friends who witnessed how Roman and I made it to this point in our relationship. And we can’t just ditch Roman’s close business associates who were truly happy for him to settle down.

We were closing a chapter in our lives and opening a new one with a promise to hold each other’s hand in whatever fuck up’s life is about to offer.

“You look stunning, amor,” Roman murmured in my hair. I had my arms secured around his waist while we took our first dance as husband and wife.

I looked up, meeting his eyes. “And you look edible,” was my witty response.

Yeah, I was damn horny, and Roman chuckled heartily; the vibration of his laughter shook my frame as well.

“Is it too late to invite you to elope with me instead of finishing this reception?” He asked, gaze turning feral.

I giggled at that. “We’re already married. I don’t think it would still be called eloping.”

He looked down at me with such gentleness. “We are married,” he echoed.

“Yes,” I said. After my talk with Rio, Tina and Penny gave me an earful for ruining their masterpiece, and I’ve held in my emotions since then. “We are,” I echoed as well, still unable to believe that I am married to this amazing man.

As the song changed and people gathered on the designated dance floor with us, I bit my lip and grabbed Roman’s hand, taking him with me behind the mansion. We threaded our way through the paved path that would lead us to the greenhouse, where the flowers for my bouquet came from.

When we moved here just two weeks after his proposal in Positano, he told me to turn this into our home, or he’d buy us one in a palace of my choosing. It was an easy decision for me. Las Mencía will be my home because this is where we met and where I dreamed of the future, one that I lost long ago.

“They’ll be looking for us,” Roman murmured as we stepped inside the greenhouse.

“Let them,” I said, turning to face him so I could kiss him properly. Since there were kids at the wedding, we had to keep our kiss on PG level.

I grabbed Roman’s lapel while he sheathed his arms around my waist, pulling me impossibly close to his body. Angling our mouths, I deepened our kiss so our tongues could tease one another. His hands wandered over my body while mine did the same.

“Dios mío, amor,” Roman groaned as I ran my hand down his chest, past his waist, and held his growing erection. “Can’t you wait a few more hours?”

I shook my head. “I want you… now, Roman.”

He growled. “Then we should go to our room, not here.”

Why haven’t I thought of that in the first place? Oh, maybe because my hormones are all over the place. I wonder how Zia manages to seem cool and collected all the time.

I dropped my hands on my side, biting my lip as I stepped back.

“Hey,” he reached for me, holding my face tenderly. “We can have a quickie if that’s what you want. I just didn’t want anyone to interrupt us, amor.”

I closed my eyes, inhaling deeply. “Sorry… I just, I want you so bad….” I ran my fingers through my hair, certainly ruining the curls Tina took hours to get done. “... but you’re right. We should go back. They’d be looking for us soon.”

Turning on my heels, Roman reached for my hand again and pulled me back into his embrace. With his front pressed on my back, he wrapped his arms around my middle. “Amor… what’s wrong? Something is bothering you, I can tell.” He planted a kiss on the skin showing from my off-shoulder gown.

I chomped on my lip, wondering if this was the right time to tell him the news when I’m not even one hundred percent certain the result this morning was accurate.

The day we moved here, we had ‘the talk.’ ‘We are not getting any younger, amor,’ was Roman’s exact words when he asked me to stop taking pills. But in the first two months that I got my period, it affected him more than it should have . To his credit, he tried his best to hide his disappointment, but I knew him like the back of my hands.

I turned and faced him with a sigh, knowing that this would bother him as well, so better to come clean. “My period is two weeks late. I did a pregnancy test this morning. It came out positive, but I’m not sure yet, Roman… and I don’t know why I’m acting like a horny teenager-”

My words halted as soon as Roman’s lips crushed against mine in a painful yet gentle kiss. His finger weaved through my hair, surely ruining my hair, but I don’t give a shit right now. I kissed him back with the same fervor.

“I’m sure you’re pregnant,” he said, not giving me a chance to speak as she scooped me in his arms, carrying me bridal style through the back entrance of the villa.

“Yeah?” I planted a kiss on his neck while we ignored the surprised shriek of our guest, who wandered inside our home.

I returned a few awkward congratulations from our friends as we passed by them.

“Roman?” Nana Teresa called as we reached the foot of the stairs. “Where are you two going?” She asked with a mixture of amusement and mischief in her eyes.

“We are moving the honeymoon sooner rather than later, Abuela,” Roman answered, without stopping his pursuit. When he reached the top of the stairs, he turned to face his grandmother. “Please take care of the guest for us?”

She crossed her arms over her chest, eyes narrowed to slits, but before she could produce a retort, Roman continued.

“por favor? I’m damn eager to make love to my pregnant wife.”

Nana Teresa’s eyes lit up like fireworks on new year’s eve. She opened her mouth, passing glances to Roman and me, shaking her head. “You horny kids are turning my hair all white.” With that, she turned and took her leave.

“I can’t believe you just did that,” I slapped Roman’s chest as he continued to walk towards our room.

“What? It’s not every day that we get married and I get to make love to my pregnant wife. We have to make the most of this day.” He kicked open the door and dropped me in the middle of the bed. Like a lion ready to pounce on its prey, he discarded his clothes one by one without taking his eyes off of me. “I’m gonna spend the rest of my life loving you, amor.”

I chewed on my lip as he crawled on the bed, naked. “I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life loving you, Roman,” I echoed, holding his face tenderly.

“Let’s start by taking you out of this pretty dress, yes?”

I nodded, eager to spend the rest of my life with this wonderful man.

  • A Game With No Rules   I Couldn't Ask For More

~Roman~ It’s funny how time flies by when it felt like yesterday; I was naked, kneeling down on one knee, pleading for Viviana to accept me and be my wife. Three months have gone by since then. In our villa’s guest room in Las Mencía, I studied the reflection of the man staring back at me in the full-body mirror. A perfectly pressed Prussian-blue suit clung to his body with crisp white dress shirt underneath and a tie with light blue and silver patterns clinging to the collar. A boutonniere of white orchids and lavenders attached to his lapel, a miniature version of his wife’s bridal bouquet. What he wore looks expensive, a magazine-worthy attire, but that isn’t what he wanted to freeze at this moment. It’s the happiness

  • A Game With No Rules   102|Please Accept Me

~Viviana~ It was no surprise that everyone was already out of the villa when Roman and I stepped out of our room. No wonder they put me far from everyone’s room. I don’t know if I should be thankful to my friends for torturing me. They knew how much I missed Roman and still kept this a secret from me. Anyway, what matters is Roman is here. I won’t feel rueful to have fun while he’s still working. “You should’ve told me.” I nudged his shoulder as we walked down the stone path leading to the beach. We were both sporting casual beachwear. Topping our swimwear with white tanks, khaki shorts, and flip-flops. Sunglasses protect our eyes, but our smiles mirror one another. Roman had his hair tied in a low ponytail while mine was in a high ponytail.

~Viviana~Saturday morning, Penny practically knocked down my door and strutted into my room. I lay on my front, covering my head with a pillow, when she tried to wake me up. When I kept on refusing to get out of bed, Penny dropped her voluptuous blond ass on my back.“Get off!” I groaned, wiggling from under her, but she shifted and draped her entire frame over me like there was no human being under her.“It smells like shit in here,” she murmured, lying eagle spread above me, her front pressed on my back. “No wonder Roman isn’t eager to go home to you.”“Shut up,” I groaned, voice muffled by the mattress as Penny made herself comfortable. It has been six agonizing days s

~Roman~Three days. That’s how long I’ve been away from Viviana, and I was already losing my cool. Turns out, Rio didn’t only make a mess at the Phantom’s pub, but he also messed up a business deal Red was trying to close that night. No wonder Red was damned pissed he didn’t even want to answer my calls. I had to get to the bottom of the situation before seeing him personally. We might be friends, but just like me, he also answers to the people he’s working with.“What do you want?” Was Red’s warm welcome to me, a scowl etched on his face.He kept the door of his Malibu mansion wide open. I took it as an offer to come in. If this was any other guy, I wouldn’t walk through the angry lion’s den. But Red and
