Roxan started shaking at this. He was a coward who knew only to overpower the weak. Deceit and plotting were his expertise. He couldn’t see any opening to showcase his expertise.

Sandilo dragged him to the center of the crowd and pushed him to the ground. Then he roared, “Don’t behave like a ninny, Roxan.”

Roxan remained on the ground, refusing to get up. Sandilo couldn’t hit him when he was cowering. So he continued to taunt him.

“Roxan! Don’t ruin our family name. Prove that you deserve to be an Alpha. Prove that you are not the second Alpha…”

Roxan hissed and jumped to his feet at this address. He abhorred being called ‘Second Alpha.&rs
