Roxan looked relaxed and let Veron take the first plunge. He avoided him by stepping aside and brought his elbow down his back.
A scream escaped Veron’s throat but soon Veron had pinned Roxan on the ground. A fierce fight ensued… Sometimes Roxan seemed to be winning while sometimes Veron seemed to have the upper hand.
Vivian felt an intense fear grip her heart. What if something happened to Veron? What would she say to Apra?
Her heart drummed against her ribs as she watched them wrestling; matted in dirt and blood. It was difficult to say whose blood it was.

The bonfire blazed fiercely piercing through the darkness of the night. Vivian sat in the courtyard; absorbed in her task of making a battery. She was quite satisfied with the materials they procured, the rods were of similar height and width but the spool of copper wire looked like it had been transported from the earth.She couldn’t restrain her curiosity and went in search of Sandilo.
