A Memorable Night Walk

TIHANA'S POV

The howls came again, louder and faster, and I wondered what wolf had decided to harm us or were we crossing boundaries? I didn't think so because we were just taking a walk, and we weren't even far from the house.

I looked at Young Master Theo and seeing the expression on my face, he smiled.

“You seem to get frightened easily, well, don't be, it's just Chris and Nash having their howling competition”

“Howling competition?” I asked, wondering why anyone would have a howling competition.

“Yeah, when they get bored, they take turns in howling and decide which howl was the loudest and longest” He said, looking at me with a smile and another long howl pierced the air, and it was getting darker.

“Do I also need to be careful with Young Master Chris' books?” I asked since he kept on staring and smiling at me.

“Oh Yes, yes, some of them are ancient from years of use, and you have to be careful with them the most, he values them a lot because he doesn't want to lose a single one of them.” He said, still looking at me.

I discovered he looked directly into my eyes every time he spoke, which was really unsettling. It made it really hard to look at him when he spoke and to me, not looking at him felt like disrespect, as though I wasn't really listening to him.

“So… You're brothers, I guess. “ I said when I discovered there was nothing more to say, and I wanted to keep the conversation going.

It was a really silly thing to say because anyone would know at first glance that they were brothers.

“We're not just brothers, we're twins”

Did he mean to say Quadruplets?

“And don't think we're quadruplets?” He said once again as though he could read my mind.

“I…” I said, trying to say I didn't think they were quadruplets, even though it was undoubtedly what I thought.

“We're two sets of twins. Adam and I came first and then three years later, Chris and Nash came”

“Oh… I understand the paired resemblances now” I said in a low voice.

“You were watching from the window weren't you? “ He asked.

“Oh. I… I just… I saw you guys for the first time, that was all… It… It…” I said, unable to stop myself from stuttering, which was really embarrassing.

“Relax… I was just confirming something because I felt someone was watching us, but I decided to pay it no attention, so when I realized the maid had arrived, I guessed it had to be you”

“I wasn't…” I was about to say when I suddenly tripped and God knows I would have fallen on my face and died out of embarrassment if not for Young Master Theo who grabbed my hand and pulled. I fell into his arms, and I was so shocked that I stared at him right in his eyes, and it felt as though I was sinking into the depths of his brown eyes, my heart beat raced as little smile crept to his lips, he could clearly see I was flustered and all of a sudden, I couldn't stop blinking, and he straightened me up, and I was on my feet again.

“I think it's time we went home. You clearly need your rest.” he said, still with that taunting smile. “I hope I was able to make you relax because you need to be calm before you serve Adam his dinner.” he added, and my head shot up to look at him as if to say' I'll still see him tonight? '

He laughed and said.

“ He didn't eat dinner with us since he was out, so you'd have to serve him dinner and be careful Tihana, a hungry man is an angry man, so I suggest we should get home now, so he can eat, and you can rest.” He said as he put his hands in his pockets once more.

It didn't take a long time before we were back home again, and I rushed to the kitchen to warm the food for Young Master Adam and while warming the food up, I prayed desperately that a little of his anger would have abated because he really frightened me a lot. I was just a little Omega wolf with no money or status to back her up. I doubted anyone would bat an eyelid if he decided to rip me in pieces.

When the food was all warmed up, I dished it out and arranged it carefully on a tray, and it was then I realized I didn't know his room and I had to knock door after door to know which was his room.

It was a hassle as I received no reply then finally, I knocked a door and Young Master Chris came out.

“I'm so sorry to disturb, but can you please direct me to Young Master Adam's room? “

“ It's the last one over there" " Thank you. “

“ Be careful, he's mad” He said and smiled and closed the door.

I took a deep breath and made for his door.

I knocked and a reply came.

“Come in”

I pushed open the door and closed it.

“You haven't eaten dinner, Young Master”

He didn't look up from what he was doing.

He only replied.

“Drop it”

And I immediately dropped it as gently and quietly as I could, and I exited the room.

I don't know what god shone his luck on me, but it was as easy as that, I could see he was still mad, but he probably didn't find shouting at me to be worth it.

I immediately went to my room and took a shower but long after I took a shower, I still couldn't find sleep.

Then I found I was thirsty and needed water badly, so I decided to go down to the kitchen.

At first I was reluctant because I wanted to avoid running into any of the Young Masters who had a way of making me feel uneasy, but the thirst eventually won me over and as quietly as I could, I walked quietly.

I looked at the clock on the wall and saw it was past midnight. Time had slipped by so fast. I showered quite early, and it meant I had stayed up for hours without being successful in sleeping.

I tiptoed down the stairs and went down the living room, but then I stopped in my tracks.

There was a lone figure standing in the middle of the room, and he wore a hoodie, the figure was tall, and I could feel its presence, it was someone more powerful than I was.

Then the figure began to turn and Without thinking, my lungs set to work.

“Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!”
