Tamara's POV

I could barely breathe as Kate pressed the cold barrel of the gun against my temple, forcing me to drive through the dark roads toward the edge of the pack's territory. My hands trembled with fury on the steering wheel, and I fought to keep my voice steady.

I couldn't fucking believe that I had let her trick me like this.

"Kate, please, you don’t have to do this, i really dont want to hurt you," I said, my voice barely a whisper. "You should think of the consequences of your actions and we can find a way to work it out. We can make peace because I really don't want my sister's blood on my hands." I warned her.

Kate laughed, the sound twisted and cruel. "Peace? You really are as foolish as I remember. You think I want peace? You’ve always been too soft, Tamara. Too kind. And that’s what I’ve always counted on." Her voice was cold, and I could hear the satisfaction in her tone. "You’ve never learned, have you?, you’re still too fucking naive."

I gripped the steeri

Authors note: My health recovery has been slow but steady. But I promise you daily and consistent updates from beginning of August. Thank you for being patient with me. please let me know what you think about the chapterKayla's POVMy mother's blonde twin smiled—a cruel, knowing smile that chilled me to my bones. Then he said, "Well this is an unexpected twist." The world tilted on its axis. I stared, rooted to the cold stone floor, my breath trapped somewhere between my lungs and my throat. That… that was never my grandfather. The man in front of us was no longer the kind, gentle elder who tucked my hair behind my ears or whispered about how much he was happy to finally be with me. He was something else entirely. He was… Rogan. My uncle. The traitor. The monster from my dream and the terror that ended my mother's life. “What— I can't believe” My voice cracked. “What is going on? That’s not… that can’t be…” My knees wobbled, but Adrian was already at my side, pulling me be

  • A Luna of Ice : Reborn for vengeance    Grandfather

Kayla' s POVThe ride to my grandfather’s residence felt like a blur. I couldn’t focus on the trees speeding by or the warriors riding alongside the vehicle. My fingers twisted in my lap, and I kept glancing at Adrian beside me. He said nothing, but the warmth of his presence made it a little easier to breathe. When we pulled up to the gates, I felt my stomach knot. I wasn’t sure what to expect. Accusations? Denial? Would he lie to my face again? The gates opened slowly and the front doors flew open.“Kayla!” My grandfather’s voice broke through the air as he rushed down the steps. “My darling girl!”He wrapped his arms around me before I could respond. For a moment, I let him hug me, “I'm so glad you came. It's been too long since I saw you,” he whispered with emotion.I pulled away but my heart squeezed painfully. “I almost didn’t come.”His face dropped.“I didn’t come for our usual reunion,” I said, voice shaking. “I came to ask you something important.”I paused when I saw the s

  • A Luna of Ice : Reborn for vengeance    Gratitude and contemplation

Kayla POV I never imagined my life would end up like this. Not after everything I’d been through. Not after being betrayed, abused, lied to, hunted, and nearly killed—more than once. And yet… here I was. In Adrian’s arms, tangled beneath the softest sheets in a room that finally felt like home. His heartbeat was steady beneath my cheek, his arms a tight around me. I let out a quiet breath, my fingers lightly tracing his chest. “You okay?” he murmured sleepily, brushing my hair out of my face as he blinked down at me. “Yeah,” I whispered. “I’m just… a little overwhelmed.” Adrian’s arms tightened around me instantly. “You don’t have to be. You’re definitely safe now. I promise.”My wolf practically purred and I nodded but my eyes prickled with emotion. “Adrian… I have a father now. A real father. Eight brothers. A grandfather. You. And a baby on the way.” His lips twitched into a soft smile. “Don’t forget Ingrid, Logan, Hector, and Connor. You always had a family, Kayla. Even w

  • A Luna of Ice : Reborn for vengeance    Bonding with the Lycan family

Kayla POVWhy did my grandfather lie? My mouth went dry. I had no words. I couldn’t speak. I just… stared at King Konstantine like I hadn’t heard him right. “My uncle?” I whispered, voice barely carrying. “My… uncle killed my mother?” King Konstantine’s expression was grave as he nodded. “Yes. He hunted her like prey. Even after she fled, he didn’t stop. And now we believe he’s the same man who has been trying to kill you.” I slowly stood up and took a shaky step back. My legs felt like jelly. “But… my grandfather—Mr. Kim—he said she was an only child,” I said, my voice trembling. “He told me that she didn’t have any siblings. That he and grandmother raised her alone.” Adrian stepped forward quickly and steadied me with a hand around my waist. “Kayla, wait. Remember that Connor came to us before the Lycan King arrived. He already showed us that your mother had a twin brother. We just didn’t have time to process it before your father—King Konstantine—showed up.” The King stood

  • A Luna of Ice : Reborn for vengeance    Kaylas enemy is revealed

Kaylas Pov “She was telling the truth,” Konstantine confirmed. “Your grandmother—your mother’s mother—was the last pureblood of her kind. When she died, your mother became the sole living carrier of their bloodline. Only women have the potential to become a Valkyrie." “I…” I could hardly breathe. “Why didn’t we find out any of this in our research before?” “Because Rina wanted to protect you. And so did I and Dominic.” He glanced at Adrian. “She was being hunted. The more people knew about her and especially your bloodline, the more danger you were in.” Adrian muttered under his breath. “This just keeps getting bigger…” I turned back to Konstantine. “So… after you caught her?” “She was injured,” he said softly. “I was supposed to lock her up. Interrogate her. But… she fascinated me. She was fierce and clever and terrified all at once. She aimed a blade at my throat even though she knew she was no match for a Lycan prince. She was trembling like a leaf—but she never droppe

  • A Luna of Ice : Reborn for vengeance    Lady Rina's life

Author's note. I apologize for taking so long to post everyone. I was very sick but I'm fine now. Please enjoy and kindly comment to let me know you're still with me.Kayla POV It had been hours but I suddenly began struggling to process his earlier words "my daughter" when I realized how still I’d gone. Sitting beside Adrian and King Konstantine—my father— suddenly felt too surreal, like I’d stepped into a different version of my life. One I didn’t recognize, but couldn’t walk away from anymore. Rina was my mother but I barely know a single thing about her except the few things my grandfather said, such as how she was basically a gold digger who ran away from her poor home to have an affair with a Married Alpha Dominic. But that had turned out to be wrong because a single King Konstantine not a married Alpha Dominic was my father. I had to learn everything there was to learn about her. I kept my hands in my lap, fingers tangled tightly. “What was she like?” I asked softly, su
