Cecilia's pov.

The weather was calm and cold and as I walked through the bushes, the cool breeze of the evening hit me from different angles.

I had sent a message to Damon, telling him to meet me up at our usual location, as we had a lot to discuss.

The cool evening breeze blew through the trees, making the leaves move from side to side. The sunlight was already fading at this point and I pulled my cloak tighter around my shoulders.

I walked deeper into the forest, my boots pressing softly onto the damp earth, crushing the leaves beneath

The scent of dried leaves , mixed with fresh rain filled my nose. I glanced at my side scanning the forest. This was because I could hear the distant sound of rustling animals, howling and making all kinds of sounds.

I was hoping Damon would carry out the taste effectively, now that Ezekiel and Kailey were out of the pack house. This was the perfect time to attack the palace.

However, before that, there was something else I had asked Damon to carry

James pov. The light of the day came fast, and after everything I needed to do at my chambers, I stepped out. This was because I had some training to conduct today, training for Auren and other kids his age. I arrived at The training ground And we did some quick training. They were not easy but I still call them warm ups. This was because the main training for the day was the sparring session And that was what we will be doing now. Right Now, the sun was high, burning hot above the training ground. I wiped sweat from my brow and looked at the line of fifteen-year-old teens standing in front of me. Each one had bruises, dirt on their clothes, and wild looks in their eyes.It was just the warm ups, though they were tired, they were not done. I could see it in them, the hunger to grow stronger and that was what I needed to see. “Alright!” I clapped my hands together. “We have done running, we have done push-ups, and now… it’s time for hand-to-hand sparring.”Some of the kids chee

James pov. The whole room was quiet, but not peaceful, this was not how a peaceful atmosphere looked like, this one was gloomy. The fire crackled in the fireplace, casting shadows on the walls, reminding me of all the shaman had said.I shook my head from side to side, sniffing the air, the scent of burning wood filled the air, mixing with the soft scent of lavender from the candles Lydia had lit. I could see her sitting on the edge of the bed, her arms wrapped around her knees, head up with her eyes staring right into the burning fire. I leaned against the wall, watching her. She hadn’t said a word since we came back from meeting the shaman. She had been like this Since then, in fact after all the shaman said, everyone was stunned, shocked and short of words, we had thought five years of Peace would mean that there would be no more threats or reason to panic. But that wasn't true, right before our eyes, a new threat Had resurfaced, one which sounded and looked even more dangero

Ezekiel’s POVAfter all Kailey told me about Auren, last night, I just couldn't wait for dawn. I stayed up almost all night. Morning was here finally and right now I was sitting on my throne, my elbows resting on my knees and my fingers tightly locked together. My eyes stayed fixed on the large doors of the throne room. The air felt heavy, as if even the walls were holding their breath. I wasn't alone in the throne room.. Kailey was here, James, Jon and Lydia had all gathered here. This was because we were waiting for someone, someone I had summoned, to get answers. Kailey sat to my right, quiet but alert. Her eyes kept scanning the room like she was expecting something to jump out of the shadows. James on the other hand stood beside her, arms folded across his chest, face stern and unreadable. Jon leaned against a pillar near the wall, while Lydia paced slowly behind the chairs, clearly nervous.“She’s late,” Lydia muttered, glancing toward the doors for the tenth time in less t

Ezekiels's pov. Though I was deep in sleep, I could Still feel that the bed was warm, the room quiet. I turned to the side, my arms draping on that of kailey who slept beside me, my eyes were shut so I had no idea if she was asleep or awake. However, in that instant, I felt a soft touch on my arm. “Ezekiel,” Kailey whispered. “Ezekiel, wake up.”At first, I didn’t move,I was too deep in sleep to understand, but then she touched my arm again and gave it a little shake.“Ezekiel, please,” she whispered, her voice low but urgent.I blinked my eyes open, the room was still dark though I could see the moonlight spilling through the window.“Kailey?” I murmured, blinking my eyes and stretching a bit. “What’s wrong?”She was sitting up, her face lit softly by the moonlight and I could see worry in her eyes, it was at that exact moment I knew it was serious. “I need to talk to you,” she said quietly.I sat up, more awake now. “Is something wrong?” I raised a browShe nodded slowly. “It’s

Auren’s pov. I walked slowly through a dark, quiet forest, it was nothing I could remember, totally different from that around the park house. I folded my arms around me, I have never felt this lonely. I grabbed around me, tall trees stood all around me, their branches reaching out like arms, it was a little scary, but James has always taught me to be brave, especially In times like this. According to James, that was what a true warrior would do. The ground was soft under my feet, covered in thick moss and fallen leaves, the coldness in the air was hard to not notice, everything felt strange, very strange, but still I continued walking, maybe I would see something. I didn’t know how I got here, that was one of the scary parts, I had no idea how I got here, what I could remember was that one second I was in bed, the next I was in this creepy forest.“Where am I?” I whispered. No one answered, just the wind rustling the leaves above me.I looked around, trying to remember how I c

Ezekiel's pov. The air was cool, calm as the sun was already beginning to set behind the trees, painting the sky with a soft orange and pink hue. Though the wind was gentle as it brushed the leaves, I let out a deep breath and leaned back against the thick trunk of the old oak tree just outside the park house, its branches stretched high above us, casting a wide shadow over the grass. My mind was a little occupied, occupied with thoughts of Auren, all that Kailey had reported to me the other still clouded my mind. How could Auren have powers? Though it was a little confusing, I felt like I would have to involve the shaman, probably there would be answers to these questions. James sat beside me, his hands folded, I had told him about the whole thing and he was just as shocked as I was.I sighed “I think I need to involve the shaman, what do you think?” James nodded “that won't be a bad idea”. “That way we would have answers to these unanswered questions,”I muttered. James nodde

James pov. In no time, We arrived at the forest. The trees were tall and close together. The ground was soft under our boots, covered with fallen leaves. Birds still chirped in the trees, but the deeper we went, the quieter it got.It didn’t take long before the air started to feel different. It was heavy. like the forest itself was watching us.We walked in a loose formation, eyes scanning everything around us. I kept my hand on the hilt of my sword, just in case.Jon moved beside me, whispering, “Feels strange, doesn’t it?”“Yeah,” I whispered back. “Too quiet.”We reached a small clearing where the sun broke through the trees. I knelt down and checked the ground. There were tracks, big ones, fresh and blood.“Kellan,” I called quietly. “Come look at this.”He came over and crouched beside me. His eyes narrowed as he studied the prints.“Wolves,” he said. “But not ours.”I nodded. “Rogues.”Of Course I knew it was rogue, but since when? We have made sure no rogues comes to this ar

  • A Luna's Return:Her Return Will Lift The Curse   CHAPTER 200

James pov The morning sun was up in the sky. I could feel its warmness on my face as I walked across the compound of the pack house. The cool breeze rustled the trees around, and the sounds of birds filled the air. This was more like a perfect, peaceful morning. I tilted my head to look at Jon who walked beside me, he has his hands tucked into his pocket coupled with a relax smile on his face. Jon wasn't just a warrior under me anymore, with the few years we have spent together, our bond grew stronger, the friendship we shared grew. “It’s been a while since we had a quiet morning like this,” Jon said, glancing up at the clear blue sky.“Yeah,” I agreed, letting out a soft chuckle. “yeah, no trainings for today so yeah it was expected” Jon grinned. “that is true”We walked past the training ground, it was empty, however there were maids around, carrying out some cleaning. We paused, standing just by the edge of the training ground. Then I looked at Jon.“I haven’t told you the n

Ezekiel's pov. With the progress of the pack house, I decided to build an office, a personal space where I could take care of the happenings in the pack house, where some of the other wolves could report to me whenever there is a problem in the pack. The Pack house has expanded with time, five years was not a small time, it was enough time to develop the pack house and right now, I intend to add more development to it. As I sat behind the large wooden desk in my office, flipping through the reports scattered in front of me. The sunlight slipped through the blinds, casting long shadows across the room. A small smile tugged at the corner of my lips as I leaned back in my chair.I had promised Auren I would be there for his training match this evening.I still remember how mad he had been yesterday when I didn't show up, I didn't want to see him that mad again. He had reminded me at breakfast, twice, and even made me pinky swear like he used to when he was younger. It was hard to sa
