33. Memories from the Past

Dexter was moping around as he dressed for the party, still trying to figure out how he could not attend this event. He loved his cousin like a brother. They were raised to always be there for one another as a family. That is what was stuck in Dexter's head as he forced himself to get dressed and leave his house. Thinking about his family and Riley always warmed his heart, and it often motivated him to give of himself even when he didn't feel like doing something.

For instance, to name a few. My family and Sunday dinners have taken place for as long as I can remember. My grandmother made sure we were a close-knit family. And they weren't all that keen about inviting others over, but Riley and I would always have some surprise guests now and then.
