“Ivory, my luv,” Cullen approached his mate from behind and kissed the tender flesh below her ear. His large hand held her hip as his lips planted soft kisses. “The twins are here, and they brought a buddy.” Cullen realized Ivory had never met a Were-Tiger before, and he wanted to assure her that Daksh was trustworthy.

“A friend?” Ivory murmured, tilting her chin so Cullen could do as he wished. Ivory would never deny Cullen anything. While she knew their mating was still in the early stages, she doubted she would ever grow old of his caresses.

“His name is Daksh,” Cullen’s deep voice paused when he felt Ivory pull away.

Ivory twisted her body and looked him in the eyes. “The tiger?” Ivory sounded chipper. “Fern told me about him.” When Fern and Cedar returned from the rescue mission, Ivory noticed how solemnly Fern had come. As her friend, Ivory made her a cup of coffee and Fern told her that Daksh, and she, had become close.
