Chapter Seven- Call 911 immediately!

Rose was so scared, she was contemplating on whether to pick the call or not.

Why could this dangerous man be calling me again? Could he be trying to track my phone? Rose asked herself. She picked up the call and went quiet.

The call was silent for the first three seconds before a woman’s voice came in.

“Hello.”

Rose felt relieved, it was her landlord.

“Hello ma'am,” Rose answered.

“I wanted to inform you that the balance of your rent will be due in two weeks from now, according to our agreement. Please, ma, if you don't pay up, I'd have no other option than to kick you out of my property.”

She hung up immediately without allowing Rose to speak.

Rose called her back several times, but she didn't pick up.

Moments later, Sonia entered with the doctor.

“Damn, I never knew my blood was so damn red,” she said as she gulped the juice the doctor told her to drink.

“Awww, thank you, Sonia,” Rose said with a smile.

The doctor set the bag of blood so it could be transfused into Rose’s system
