Lily’s POV...........

Adrian led us through the Obsidian room like a man giving a tour of his private kingdom.

Every step we took unveiled something new—red velvet lounges, mirrored walls, and slow, rhythmic music that hummed in my chest. The air smelled like smoke, whiskey, and temptation.

“This is a club and a light bdsm room, we have private rooms for people who want their privacy, and we also have public places for people who love to watch and be watched" he said looking at me

“Here in obsidian room, everyone is allowed to have different kinks, everyone comes here for different reasons, to unleash who they really are and that's why people wear masks”

I looked around, and the few people who were not wearing masks were very few including me and Sophia with few waitresses

Sophia was hanging onto every word he said. Literally. Her hand brushed his arm more than once, and Adrian didn’t seem to mind. His attention was fixed on her—his eyes following her every movement with lazy interest.

Meanwhile, I trailed a few steps behind, pretending not to notice the way people moved around us—bodies pressed close, laughter low and secret.

“So,” Sophia said, her voice light with curiosity, “do people just… come here to watch?”

Adrian smiled faintly, the kind of smile that made promises he had no intention of keeping. “Some come to watch. Others to be watched. Every desire finds a place here, Miss…”

“Sophia,” she supplied quickly, batting her lashes.

“Ah.” His smile deepened. “Beautiful name.”

I rolled my eyes subtly and turned my gaze elsewhere.

The main floor stretched out below us, dimly lit and impossibly elegant. I shouldn’t have been blushing, but I was. The sounds, the looks, the atmosphere—it was all too intimate, too much.

A couple were having an orgy, and a lot of people were watching them__me included.

I felt something stir in my core and I rubbed my thighs together.

Then I felt it.

A stare. Heavy and unrelenting.

I looked down, and my breath caught.

At one of the shadowed tables, a man sat wearing a silver mask. He didn’t move. Didn’t speak. Just… watched me.

I looked away instantly, my pulse jumping. My fingers tightened around the strap of my purse. What was wrong with me? This was ridiculous.

But curiosity betrayed me. I looked again.

And this time, I saw him more clearly—broad shoulders, a glass in his hand, dark hair catching the light. A woman knelt beside him, her hand trailing over his thigh, then—

Oh God.

She was on her knees. Her lips moving against him.

She was giving him a blowjob

And still—his eyes were on me.

I froze. Heat rushed up my neck, flooding my cheeks. I couldn’t move, couldn’t breathe. His expression didn’t change—calm, composed, almost detached—but the way he watched me felt intimate, invasive.

I tore my gaze away, pretending to study the artwork on the wall, my heart hammering.

What kind of place was this?

Adrian’s voice snapped me back. “Members of The obsidian room are bound by discretion and respect,” he was saying smoothly. “You’ll find that the experience here is as much about control as it is about freedom.”

I nodded vaguely, not trusting my voice.

We finished the tour in a private lounge, where Adrian handed each of us a sleek black card embossed with gold lettering.

“Your access cards,” he said. “They’ll grant you entry at any time. Consider them… an invitation.”

Sophia grinned. “I think I’m in love.”

“With the club or the owner?” I teased weakly.

“Both,” she said without shame.

Adrian chuckled low. “Then my work here is done.”

“Sophia I hope we meet again” he said and smiled at her

He excused himself a moment later, leaving us near the bar. The crowd was louder now—music pulsing, laughter echoing off marble. I tried to relax, sipping my drink slowly, but that strange heat in my chest wouldn’t fade.

“Mind if I join you?”

I looked up.

The man was tall, with sharp features and dark eyes that seemed to laugh even when his mouth didn’t. Handsome in a dangerous way—the kind of man who made every word sound like a dare.

“Sure,” I said, because my tongue didn’t trust itself to say no.

He ordered us both drinks, his tone smooth, his smile practiced. I tried to keep up, but the cocktails kept coming—one, then another, then another.

“Are you having a good time Lily?“ Sophia asked

“sure__ go and find Adrian “

“Are you sure?“

I pushed her towards his direction

_____

Sophia was off somewhere with Adrian, laughing at something he said. I caught glimpses of her, her smile wide and carefree.

Meanwhile, my world tilted. The room blurred around the edges.

“Whoa,” the handsome stranger said with a soft chuckle. “You okay there?”

“Fine,” I mumbled, though my head spun.

“Should I take you outside for some sir?“ The man said

“Im ok really”

The guy was still insisting and I was about to tell him to fuck himself when the masked man that was receiving a blowjob appeared then—like he’d materialized from the shadows—

“I think that’s enough for tonight.”

“Woa who are you man?“ The stranger asked the masked man

“Get the fuck away from her” the masked man snapped

The stranger looked at me and shrugged and walked away

“Killjoy” I mumbled

The mask only stared at me

He signaled to the bartender and spoke to someone by the door.

Sophia stumbled back to me, her lipstick smudged and her giggle too loud. “Best. Night. Ever.”

“Come on,” Adrian said, his tone firm but polite. “Let’s get you both home safely.”

He helped us out, steady and calm, his hands gentle but controlled.

As we stepped into the cab, I glanced back one last time—toward the balcony, where the man in the silver mask had been.

He was gone.

But somehow, I could still feel his gaze.

I held Sophia and the cab took us home, we stumbled out of the car, literally and walked back into the house

I dropped dead on my bed

Andrew’s POVThe morning light felt too bright for the kind of thoughts in my head. I’d been up since dawn, pretending to go through emails, pretending not to think about her lips. Every time I blinked, I saw Lily — flushed, breathless, trembling in my arms. She’d come into work like nothing happened, her hair curling softly around her face, that new cut brushing her shoulders. A cruel kind of beauty — one that made a man forget what rules were for.I tried to focus on the report in front of me. Numbers. Contracts. Deadlines. But all I saw was the faint pink tint on her lips when she bit them — the same lips I’d kissed. The taste still lingered, sweet and dangerous.“Mr. Sterling?”Daniel’s voice broke my thoughts. He was standing by my office door, smiling like an idiot. “The quarterly files are ready. Lily’s going through them.”Lily.Of course she was. Always meticulous, always professional. And right now, sitting too close to Daniel at the end of the open workspace — their heads b

Lily's pov…….The mirror didn’t lie.For the first time in weeks, I looked… alive. The soft curls framed my face like falling ribbons, brushing against my collarbones with every move. The stylist had cut my hair in layers, giving it a bounce I never had the confidence to try before. It made me look lighter—like I’d let go of something I didn’t even realize I was holding. The black satin dress hugged my body in all the right places, delicate straps tracing over my shoulders. The neckline was modest, but the sheen of the fabric made it look daring under the light. Paired with silver heels and a faint cherry lip tint, I felt like a stranger in my own skin. A prettier, braver stranger.I was heading to the Obsidian club, I don't why I was doing that but I know I had to, to release some tension. When I walked into the Obsidian Club, the night was already alive.Low jazz floated through the dark room, glasses clinked, laughter blurred with the hum of soft conversations. The air smelled fain

  • A NIGHT WITH MY BILLIONAIRE BOSS    chapter twenty three: New look

Lily's pov….Andrew parked the car in front of my apartment building, the low hum of the engine the only sound between us. The city outside glimmered faintly in the night — streetlights, distant laughter, the world moving on while I sat there, staring at the dashboard, not sure what to say.“Thank you,” I finally murmured, breaking the silence. He looked at me, his expression unreadable. “You should rest. You’ve had a long week.”I nodded, but the words that came out weren’t the ones I’d planned. “Do you ever… feel like everything’s spinning out of control?”His jaw twitched. “Every day,” he said quietly. For a moment, it felt like we weren’t boss and assistant — just two people with too many ghosts in their heads. I wanted to ask more, wanted to know more. But he turned away first, fingers tightening on the steering wheel.“Goodnight, Lily.”“Goodnight, Mr. Sterling,” I whispered, stepping out of the car.He waited until I was safely at my door before driving off. The sound of his en

Andrew’s POVThe house was dead quiet when I walked in.That kind of silence that didn’t mean peace — it meant something was wrong.I climbed the stairs to my father’s study, my shoes echoing against the marble. The door was half open. Blood pooled on the floor like spilled ink, dark and sticky.“Andrew…”Eleanore’s trembling voice made my jaw tighten. Her hair was tangled, a patch of it missing from her scalp, blood running down her cheek.“What the fuck happened?” I growled.“It’s nothing,” she whispered, clutching her arm. “Why are you here?”I scoffed. “Why am I here? You think I can just sit back while he keeps doing this?”Few days after my mother’s suicide, Eleanore was brought into the house. My father’s new obsession. My mother’s replacement. My stepmother. And his new punching bag. Every time I tried to help, she’d push me away, muttering “Don’t make it worse.”Then came the twins. Fragile, quiet things that looked at me like I was their savior. They were the only reason I

Lily’s POVThe Obsidian Club was unlike anything I’d ever seen.I've come here three times already but it's beauty is always unique.Inside, the air shimmered with danger and wealth. Dim amber lights spilled over black marble floors, and everywhere I looked, there were masks — silver, gold, velvet — concealing faces that whispered, laughed, and sinned in equal measure.A woman in a scarlet gown walked past, leading a man by a leather collar. In another corner, a couple kissed like the world was ending. Music thrummed low, steady, like a heartbeat you couldn’t escape.I swallowed hard, my pulse matching the rhythm.“First time?” a soft voice asked.I turned to see a woman in black lace, her face hidden behind a butterfly mask. “You look like you’re about to faint.”“Do I?” I managed a nervous smile. She grinned. “You’ll get used to it. The club has a way of finding what people hide — and showing it to them.”Her words sent a chill down my spine.I drifted deeper into the club, my heels

  • A NIGHT WITH MY BILLIONAIRE BOSS    chapter twenty: petals and silence

Lily’s POVThe first flower appeared on a Tuesday morning.I didn’t notice it at first — my head was pounding from lack of sleep, my hands clutching coffee like it was oxygen. But when I sat at my desk, there it was: a single white rose, resting against my keyboard. No tag. No note. Just perfect white petals, soft as silk, wrapped in a black ribbon.I blinked at it for a full minute.“Girl,” Jenna said from the next cubicle, peering over the divider, “are you seriously getting flowers at eight a.m.? Who’s the mystery man?”I gave a small laugh that didn’t reach my eyes. “I don’t know. Probably a mistake.”“Please,” she rolled her eyes. “That rose screams romantic. You sure it’s not an admirer?”“Admirer?” I choked on my coffee. Jenna giggled and disappeared back behind her monitor. But I couldn’t stop staring at the rose. Something about it felt… intentional. When I brushed my thumb across the petal, I noticed the faint scent of jasmine — expensive, rare, not the kind of thing you pi
