Her denial

"Samuel's point of view,"

"Mr. Oscar, Following your instructions, I've brought Scarlett Neve here." I was sitting in my office waiting for her when my PA notified me of Scarlett's arrival.

"Well, you still have revealed nothing to her about me, do you?" I closed the open file on the table in front of me.

"No, Mr. Oscar, I lied just as you had instructed me to, to bring her here." My PA responded gently.

"Okay, you may send her to my office." I put on the coat hanging on my chair and turned my chair in the other direction so that she could not see my face when she entered my office.

I never imagined that one day I would summon the girl whose face I never wanted to see again. but all its all i have to do just because of my mother.

"May I come in, Mr. Brown?" I raised my hand in the air and motioned for Scarlett to enter after hearing her voice.

"Mr. Brown, Your PA informed me you were interested in hiring me and that you liked my resume." She took a stride toward my chair.

"If you like my offer, we may continue discussing it further, but if you want to see your employment offer, it's in the green file on my desk." I motioned for her to remain on the opposite side of the table without moving my chair.

She grabbed the file left on the table and began flipping through the pages without uttering a word. My heart raced each time she turned a new page in the file.

Will she accept my proposal?

My anxiety made me feel horrible. yes she have to.

"What kind of proposal is this, Mr. Brown?" She closed the file and placed it back on the table.

Her voice was not angry, yet after hearing her inquiry, I can tell that she was unhappy with my proposition.

"I want to get married to you and accept this kid." I still lack the confidence to confront her.

"Mr. Brown, How did you learn about my child, and why do you wish to marry me?" She inquired as she approached my chair.

"I want to take responsibility for my error by marrying you since I know quite that I am the father of this child." I don't need to lie to her any longer since I am not one of those who hide from their mistakes out of fear; instead, I am one of those who face them up.

"Samuel Oscar?"

She was stunned to see my face as soon as I turned my chair to face her.

"I want this child to be born, and in exchange, I will pay for your mother's medical care in full. Scarlett Neve."

"So you tricked me into coming here so you could try to haggle me over my kid." It filled her eyes with anger.

"You're right; I lay to get you here. I knew you wouldn't have come if I'd told you the whole truth." I remarked as I stood up from my chair and moved toward her.

"I will not marry you, and I want to make it plain that you have no parental rights over this child. This child is solely mine." She kept her hand on her stomach to conceal it from my view.

No one would realize she is two months pregnant based on the size of her belly, yet I am certain that two months have gone by since that night. I always ask Scarlett's gynecologist for updates on how she is doing.

"How is it possible, Miss Neve, that I have no right to this child? Even though you know well that this child is mine," I took her hand off her stomach while keeping my hand on her stomach.

"Samuel, please don't touch me.

You have already paid the price for spending the night with me, and you have punished me even for that mistake, which I did not commit; this child is only mine, and you have no claim on it; whatever happened between us that night was only because of your wrath." Although she tried to stop the tears from falling from her eyes, a drop eventually made it to her pink cheeks.

"I know already that I erred, and by getting married to you, I want to make it right. You only need to enter a marriage contract with me. Despite this, we will both be allowed to live our lives as single individuals while appearing to be a married couple in the outside world. Just give birth to my child, and in exchange, I will pay for all of your mother's medical care." The tears running down her cheeks kept drawing my attention.

"You're perfectly right, Mr. Oscar; this kid directly results from your one error. However, I refuse to offer you another chance to make amends for it. I will undoubtedly give birth to this child, but he or she will have nothing to do with you. In terms of my mother's treatment, you've already paid the spending price that night with me.

Mr. Samuel Oscar, then I reject your contract. Please let me live in peace now." She grabbed the file on the table, tore the pages out, and hurled them in my face.

"Mr. Oscar, I hope that my response was quite clear and that you won't bother me again." Before stepping out of my office, she said,

As she left my office; I watched her in silence.

"Scarlett neve, You made a mistake by rejecting my offer. I am quite aware of how to convince you to marry me. I will do anything to have my child. You won't be able to take my child away from me with such ease, I promise."

I made the call after pulling out my phone from my pocket.

"You carry out my every instruction, keeping in mind that you must complete this work before Miss Neve arrives."

"Scarlett Neve This time, you won't have a choice but to agree to my proposal." I mumbled, observing the scattered pieces of paper.
