Chapter 5. Forcing

Daniel was getting frustrated with every passing day. Yes he was closer to Jack for past days, but it didn’t exceed more than kisses and cuddles. And he wanted more. He was tired of the hide and seek game.

He even spoke to Jack in hints that he wanted to step up their relationship. But Jack wasn’t ready to give into. Not that he denied, but he only asked for more time. And waiting was not something Daniel loved.

His friends would mock him for being so slow in taming a person. And that was only adding to his desperation for the man he had put the bet on.

He was in the canteen with his friends, poking the food with fork while the rest of gang was enjoying it.

Mason and Wyatt shared a meaningful glance before they turned to Parker. And he knew the plan.

"Uhh. Daniel. You remember the party at my place this Saturday right". Parker started as they had secretly planned.

"What party"? Daniel said in a boring tone. He was not interested to attend any party at the moment.

"Aowh. You jerk. My birthday party. What? You are enjoying the time with your boyfriend soooo much that you forgot your friend eh". Parker smacked his head and quickly dived away not to be smacked back by Daniel.

"Cut the shit Parker". Daniel snapped. "What time"?

"6 pm. And uh... You can bring him too, if you want". He added again. Daniel shook his head. He knew Jack won’t come.

"What? Did he already rejected? Tsk tsk tsk. Our Daniel can’t even bring his boyfriend because he doesn’t care for Daniel. Tsk". Mason mocked him. Internally he knew he won it, just by looking at Daniel's face, he could say Daniel would bring him, by hook or by crook.

"I am not someone to lose so easily. Just wait and watch. 6pm on Saturday. See you guys". Daniel banged his hands at the table before storming out of the cafe.

They all shared a look and smirked. Daniel was thinking to take Jack with him at the party and make his dream come true.

He was unaware that two other people were planning some dirty game too.

" Jack... Are you free this Saturday"? Daniel asked Jack while Jack was cooking dinner and Daniel was setting the table.

"Hmm. Yeah I am". He replied in his usual tone.

"Will you go with me"?

"Where"? This time Jack turned to him.

"Uhmm to a birthday party". Daniel said biting his lips. He knew Jack wasn’t comfortable in big gatherings, especially out of his family circle.

"A birthday Party"? He asked raising his eyebrows.

"Well. Its Parker's birthday and he has invited you to come with me". Daniel told him.

"Uhm. I..."  Jack was hesitant and Daniel could see it. "You know me Daniel". He softly patted his cheeks before dishing up the dinner. "Beside, I am a boring person and you would have to stick with me all the time to keep me company and that’s unfair to your friend.

Why don’t you attend the party and come back to me. Excuse on my behalf hmmm. What do you say"? Jack walked passed him but Daniel caught his wrist. Jack sighed. He knew Daniel would insist. Not that he had objections, but one thing he wasn’t much familiar with his friends and secondly he knew birthday party with friends come with booze and drinks and he wasn’t comfortable with that.

"Please Jack. You know I never push you out of your comfort zone. They all want to meet my handsome boyfriend. Hmmm". Daniel held him at his shoulders. He was looking deep into his hazel eyes. "I won’t let anything happen to make you uneasy. Don’t you trust me, hmmm". Daniel assured him.

He could see Jack still contemplating and he wasn’t in a mood to let it slip. He pulled Jack close and silenced all his doubts with his lips. And smirked in the kiss when he knew he had won the argument.

Jack was kind of shocked to see Mason and Wyatt in the party and was this close to leave when Daniel shook his head.

"Daniel.... I..."

"Don’t you trust me, love"?

"I won’t let anyone touch you or disturb you. Trust me. I just have to greet Parker and give him the gift and then we will leave in short. Hmmm". Daniel took him in his arms taking him to Parker.

Jack was just sitting in the corner when Daniel asked him for food. He was silent. Only if he knew, he would have never come to the party.

Daniel saw him around the corner and smiled inward. He knew Jack was sulking. He picked up his plate of food and a can of beer in other hand and walked to his boyfriend.

"Here ". He sat beside him but Jack shook his head. He was still upset.

"Just a little food and then we will leave hmmmm".

"I am not hungry Daniel. Finish it. I want to leave". Jack said in a low tone.

"But why. Why did it matter to you? Ignore them. They are my friends Jack. I can’t say them not to attend the party. But they are not disturbing you hmm". Daniel said in a simple tone as a matter of fact but it irked Jack.

He didn’t say anything but grabbed the beer and leaned back in the couch. Daniel sighed and put his plate aside. He held Jack's hand who tried to pull it away but not when Daniel was holding it tightly.

"Come on. Dont be a spoiled sport". Daniel leaned close to him, almost hovering over his lips. Jack looked at him but didnt say anything. He could see the intensity in his eyes.

His gaze fell on those parted lips as he took a swing of the beer throwing the can away.

"Do you want more"? Daniel whispered on his lips and stood up to grab one more without waiting for his consent.

Either it was the flow of the moment or him being so upset, Jack didn’t realize he had already finished 5 cans, too much to his tolerance level.

Daniel knew it all. Well enough. He knew Jack was drunk now. He and beer were never great together. He waited for a few more moments, observing Jack who was sitting on the couch, eyes closed.

"Jack".

"Hmmmm". He opened his eyes for a while before closing them again. He was feeling light headed.

"Do you want to have some fun"? Daniel asked licking his own lips.

"Fun *hicc*". Jack hiccupped.

"Yeah. Some fun. You and me". Daniel inched closer, kissing his forehead. He kissed his closed eyes and his cheeks before pressing his plump limps on those wet one.

"Come on, Jack. What’s wrong with you? I just wanted to have a little fun. We are boyfriends. And all boyfriends do it. What’s so fuss"? Daniel said in an annoyed tone.

He was tired of waiting. He hated it.

"Don’t you dare raise your voice on me, Daniel". Jack said raising a finger on him. "I am leaving. Come home when you are sober enough to think". Jack was about to leave but all he knew, he was pinned to a wall.

"Dan...." He wanted to push him away but failed when Daniel pinned his hand above his head and blocked his legs with his thigh in between.

"Daniel"!!!! Jack said in a dejected, shocked voice.

"Now you listen to me. It’s been weeks. And where do we stand? Kisses and cuddles? What are we, puppies? A man has needs. For how long do I have to wait for your special night huh? Do you know how difficult it is for me? Every night you sleep just like that, hyping me up, and I have to stay all night awake to calm myself down. You want to see, see it yourself". Daniel pulled his one hand over his own crotch to let Jack feel how hard he was.

He walked upstairs to go to the guest room where Parker pointed Jack to use the restroom.

Before he could open the door he heard someone crying. He peeked inside the slightly ajar door and felt someone put a bucket of cold water.

As if his feet had a mind of his own, he walked to Jack and sat behind him on the floor.

Daniel gritted his teeth before turning to them.

Jack felt his stomach churning. He felt he would throw up. Quickly detaching himself from Daniel, he ran inside the washroom and locked the door.

Daniel was worried. He knew it would be because of the beer he forced Jack to drink. He would feel horrible.

"Get out Wyatt. Tell Parker I will be leaving. And don’t you dare put a finger on him. He is my boyfriend and I won’t let anyone hurt him. Not even myself". Daniel said before going to the washroom, begging for Jack to open it.

Wyatt and Mason shared a meaningful gaze to him who was now entering the washroom to comfort Jack, and left the room.

But ofcourse that wasn’t the end.

Meanwhile...

"Ssshhh. It’s okay love. It’s okay. They have left. Let’s go home hmmm". He washed Jack's face and helped him gargle.

"Daniel..." Jack was crying endless. He was so hurt. So upset.

"What’s wrong with you guys? Love and Daniel don’t fall on the same page. I am just enjoying the company. That’s it. I mean it is bad to taste a fine wine if you get a whole barrel for yourself. And get paid for tasting it hmmmm"? Daniel said and this time they all clunk their bottles laughing out.

"Okay guys. I am leaving for home. Jack is at his home. I will come back tomorrow. So let’s proceed tomorrow. Bye". He pulled out his share of cash and left the bar.

Mason, Wyatt, Parker and Grayson looked at each other but didnt speak a word.

"Keep the backup of videos in your computers guys." Mason said and they all nodded. They couldn’t be careless over the highly sensitive issue.

"Jack there is no such thing as rushing in a relationship or being slow. It’s like compatibility of the partners. The way they want to take it. Either slow or fast, as they choose". She said but it only confused Jack more.

"Listen. When we love someone, sometimes we get insecure, or thrilled with the relationship. That we tend to get close to the person, emotionally and physically. Because we cannot hold ourselves all the time. We can’t control our emotions all the time. Being human we tend to lose control and it’s normal, only if the other person understands us too.

But yes, taking advantage is a bad thing. If someone is in their weakest state, we have to make sure to lift them up, not burden them more. Not black mail them more. Not exploit them emotionally. You… You are getting my point right"? She said and Jack nodded.

"So now why are you scared"?

"I am not scared. But...."

"But what Jack"?

"Jack, don’t panic. Take it slow. For now I would advise you not to tell him. Take the things with flow. And if you get pregnant only then we can know his reaction. But, if he in anyway refuses to take the responsibility of the child and the severity of this relationship, I am going to kill him. And I am serious. And for the baby, I will help you raise him or her. So you can count on me". She said softly patting his shoulder.

"You know, Em, you are the best thing that happened to us. Thank you for being with me and understanding me". Jack was thankful.

"This is my family Jack. And the family stays together. When your brother told me about you, the first time I saw you panicked due to menstrual cycle. I was kind of surprised. But then you were like a little sister to me. I remember the first time I had my cycle and I panicked too and I had no one to guide me through it. You are too precious Jack. This is a gift from God you know, to conceive, to carry a child inside you. It’s... It’s the best feeling ever". She was talking but at the end her voice was strained with tears.

"If in any case I get pregnant, you will be his or her god mother. The baby will be yours equally as mine. This is all I can do". He wrapped his strong arms around his strong yet fragile sister in law, Em.

"Hi handsome, weclome home". Jack opened the door to his apartment and was pleasantly surprised to find Daniel sitting in the lounge.

"And this... Something Jane and Noah bought for you". He handed him a wrapped gift. Daniel looked at him with wide eyes and then hugged him tight.

"Thank you so much Jack. For the loving family you gave me". He said kissing his cheeks and Jack smiled patting his back.

"It is your family too. Now eat before it gets cold. I am hungry too". He took him to the kitchen to dish out the food.

"Wowwwww. You guys cook the best food ". Daniel was savoring every bite, while Jack could only chuckle.

"Are you in a mood for any movie Daniel"? Jack asked once they were done with dishes and cleaning.

"Hmmm choose any". He held a bowl of snacks to accompany during movie.

Jack chose a romantic comedy. Daniel wasn’t into romantic movies much but he didn’t object. He sat on the floor by the couch and took Jack in his arms. Jack loved it like this, snuggling into Daniel in his warmth.

They were enjoying the movie although they had already seen it before. Daniel looked down to comment on a soft proposal scene and his forehead creased to see Jack in tears.

"What happened"? He was alarmed at once. But Jack nodded his head as its okay. "Then why are you crying "?
