Our beasts dumped Clarissa’s clothes on my porch and his snow leopard hesitated, glancing at Dante’s bear before looking into my beast’s eyes. Dante was the more outgoing of us two. He was a natural leader who made quick decisions, whereas I tended to make up the rear, dotting the i’s and crossing the t’s.
