CHAPTER 4

We are here on the terrace now and Nicole and Ethan are next to each other again, this is me Owen and he keeps glancing at me. I'm bored to death gosh, I wanna poke his eye! It seems that the way he looks at me, he imagines me naked!

"Heaven is there a problem?" Dad asked as I stood up.

"Nothing," I answered and walked in place of Ethan.

"Can we switch seats, can you sit beside him instead?" I'm referring to Owen.

"Why--" she couldn't finish what she was going to say when I pulled her hand upright and snatched the chair from her.

She looked at me badly but I just rolled my eyes, I heard Ethan laugh softly and mom and dad were looking at me seriously as well as the other people in there.

"Did I do something wrong?" I asked Ethan.

"You didn't do anything wrong, you did the right thing by moving her seat." He put his arms around me and rested my head on his shoulder.

"So, should we start discussing the wedding??" The woman asked excitedly. Maybe that's Nicole's mom because they both have the same face.

They all agreed except for the four of us.

They even sent us here but they will be the ones who also decide which church and so on.

Hmm, it looks like Nicole doesn't want to marry Ethan either. It was obvious on her face, she had been frowning and she looked like a duck with her frown. But I noticed that she was still glancing at Owen, hmm it seems like there is something between the two of them.

"Is that okay with you??" They asked us after they finished talking about marriage.

I want to curse right now but I'm just holding myself back.

They really asked us that question, seriously?

"I don't think our kids like each other." I heard what Owen's Mom said.

"Look at them, I think it would be better if we just swap them." My eyes widened at what Nicole's Mom said.

What change? Like Ethan and I? Nicole and Owen are getting married?!! What the f**k?? Or will Ethan and Owen then Nicole and I? I'm not bi or lesbian the heck!

Is Nicole's mom okay?!

"Oh, those two are best friends! They're like brother and sisters, look."

"Then those two will not agree even more when they are the ones we agreed to marry."

"Even if we want to, we know they won't agree."

So, they also thought of marrying me to Ethan? But they didn't go through with their plan because they knew we wouldn't agree, but they still thought about it. What the heck? So, what Ethan's mom said wasn't a joke??

Ethan and I looked at each other and shook our heads together.

I rolled my tongue inside my mouth, scratching my ears because of what I'm thinking now. I want to do this with my mind in case Ethan might not agree, but I also thought that he might be okay with it, as long as I'm in.

"The wedding is next month and after the wedding, you will be together in the same house--"

"No, way! I don't want Heaven to marry that guy Tita, Tito!" I'm kinda shock when Ethan spoke, I didn't expect him to speak like that.

"And I don't want Ethan to marry that girl Tita, Tito!" 

Mom and dad look disappointed. "Why are you always against each other's marriage? Are you two--"

I don't know why I suddenly think of this right now but I don't care anymore!

"W-We have a relationship! I love Ethan that's why I don't want him to marry another girl!" I turned my gaze to Ethan, he looked shocked but then he suddenly held my hand.

"Y-Yeah, Heaven is right, mom! We love each other that's why I don't her to marry him! The girl I want to marry is Heaven!"

"WHAT??" They were obviously shocked.

"I thought you two are just friends..." 

"Best friend..."

Ethan and I looked at each other and smiled. "It's just that we're thinking the same thing." He whispered.

"We should have become a sibling," I said.

"So, how about this? Maybe we should change it? Why don't we separate those two, it's obvious that Ethan and Heaven are in love."

Their attention was on the two of us so we showed how sweet we were to each other and it was like we really loved each other damn. Ethan will surely disgust of me later.

"It looks like that, let's switch. Nicole and Owen are good." They agreed except for the two who couldn't even look at each other now. I think, they already know each other. Tsk, never mind it's not my business.

After the talk, we went home and Ethan and his parents were also there. Ethan and I were standing next to each other while our parents were in front looking at both of us seriously.

"How long have you been?"

"What year?"

"What month?"

"Why didn't you tell us?"

I just stared, I didn't know whose question I was going to answer.

Is the interview required? We're not going to apply for a job!

I felt Ethan tighten his grip on my hand.

"Heaven and I were on his 18th birthday, we didn't tell because we thought you would be angry." Ethan lies.

I was about to laugh but then he pinched my side.

"Why didn't you just say that you don't want to date or get married because you love each other."

"Honey, those kids must be scared."

"Oh my god!! This means they're going to be married!" Tita said very happily to mom and they both hugged each other.

"There will be no double wedding because they will marry each other!"

The four of them seem to be very happy and I'm quite happy because Ethan is the one I'm going to marry instead of the other man out there that I don't like!

It doesn't mean that I like Ethan but because when we both understand each other.

"Ethan, if you are the man my daughter will marry, I will support you both even more." Dad said with a smile.

"Yes, you know each other well and you always get along." Ethan's dad said.

I feel awkward with their actions now.

"I'll get some juice for you first, it looks like you're both thirsty." Mommy quickly went to the kitchen.

I'm really thirsty.

Wait, we have helpers, why should mom hire them if she does their job? It's like she's so happy that she wants to do everything herself.

After mommy came back and put the glasses down and I got some juice and drank it.

"It's good that you two didn't think of having a child, how many times have you been in the same room together?" I threw out the juice because of what Tita said.
