Chapter 89 – Lance

To say that I’m exhausted after the long performance at the wedding was definitely an understatement. I’m more than exhausted, in fact, I’m excited to sit down and have a moment but on the positive side of things, I’m through the roof and exceedingly satisfied with how we performed. I had this inner confidence that we will do well enough but I never would’ve thought we’ll be received pretty nicely by everyone in the audience. When I sang the original song that I wrote for Dominic and Valentine, we had a standing ovation and I thought it’s for the newly wedded couple but they were just standing in the middle of the dance floor watching me perform the original song. I saw how Dominic shed some tears and that’s when I knew I did him justice. By the time, I was done singing the first chorus, Dominic and Valentine finally began dancing.
