Because the last thing I want is a double-whammy. If you’re that worried about what I might do, then fine; I’ll take you to my house and then spend the night in my office.”

His explicit concession made it hard for Tiffany to reject his offer, mostly since she was, in truth, terrified of going home. If Beckett saw no problem doing things to Tanya, then he would have no problem ambushing Tiffany in her condominium too.
