As I go about my business shopping for flowers as Georgia suggested, I notice I am being followed by Sabrina, who thinks she is being stealthy by wearing a hoodie and glasses. I roll my eyes as I read the post because if this is what Mr. Thomas means about taking care of things, it isn’t helping because that girl will be coming back. Your phone is ringing!” Georgia yells from where she is helping the men set the carpet on the floor. “I’m coming!” I yell back from the kitchen where I am unloading a box of pots and pans. When I enter the car, I see Millie smooched against the other door and I shake my head. Because if she doesn’t want to be here, then she can always leave. I can easily lie to my father and say she isn't feeling well. There is light traffic on the road, but even with that, we arrive at the restaurant with plenty of time. Even though I am glad I am not included in their conversation, I still can’t help but feel left out. I decided that Monday would be my opening day and I don’t know if I should be happy or scared. Asher and his father put it out to the media about this big day and I know that if the crowd that is expected to come does show up, then it will be hectic. Thank God I have done some interviews and selected the best bakers, servers ad cashiers out of the bunch. ‘’I’ll see you on Monday.’’ Georgia waves. ‘’See you.’’ I wave back. Me cutting the red ribbon to my shop, me pulling down the cloth to reveal the name of my shop, I smile at the thought and get lost in my mind.
