Chapter 76

This is common for people who have had relatively lonely lives. They want love in any form they can get it and so when it comes knocking they immediately answer. Casey wanted Klaire because she loved him. Because she wanted him and he liked that she wanted him. But over time it became too much and he couldn't handle it and had thoughts of breaking it off. But not wanting to be alone, he tried to fix her. He didn't want to leave her.

Casey is confused by what she says. He is denying everything but Ava can see it. She is confused as to why he did try to break up with her before when Klaire slapped her. He said that at that point he really was only thinking of getting away from her. He said that Klaire was suffocating and in that moment he was so angry that he didn't think ahead. But when she threatened to kill herself, he stayed with her.

He tells her that he began to see all of her flaws as time passed and by the time of the wedding he was way past sick of her, but he did not want to b
