I opened my eyes, unable to move any other part of my body. I blinked multiple times, trying to take in the environment I was, failing to do so.
"Where am I?" I gathered the strength to mutter. I felt a certain urge to quench my thirst but it seemed I had no way to do so. Just then, I noticed how uncomfortable my seated position was. I was tied to what looked like an old wooden chair and it dawned on me what was going on. I had been kidnapped.
"Why would anyone want to kidnap me?" I raised my voice intentionally, permitting whoever had chosen to abduct me, the chance to realize that I had regained consciousness.

Sam let go of Caramel, his personal fear setting in from the effect of the shock that followed the sudden intrusion of what he must have tagged an unknown presence."Caramel, I give you the count of three. "Pregnant?" I repeated after the doctor. I was sure I had heard him wrong. "Excuse me?" I alarmed, afraid to face the words I had just heard. I could feel myself getting choked up by the air around me. It was eerie.
