Chapter XII

I disappear into the shadows, racing towards our shared prey. As I closed in on the creature, I could feel Alexander's presence just behind me.

The stag darted through the forest as it sense us, its hooves pounding against the earth, but I was persistent in my pursuit. Branches snapped beneath my feet, and the wind howled in my ears as I pushed myself trying to beat Alexander.

I inch closer to the Stag, my heart pounding with anticipation. But just as I'm about to strike, Alexander appears out of nowhere, blocking my path.

He sank his fangs into the stag's neck, claiming victory. He glance over at me, a triumphant smile playing on his lips.

Alexander smirked "Looks like I win Mon Bijou,"

I narrowed my eyes on him "Don't get too comfortable, bloodsucker. This is far from over." I gritted out.

"Bloodsucker" He chuckled repeating what I called him "Shouldn't that be plural?" He asked.

I glared at him without a word.

He let go of the dead stag and straighten up "You should feed,"
