VIVIAN

“Sel?” Zander called to her.

“Yeah?” She answered with her eyes fixated on the men ready to capture her and me.

“Viv?” He called out to me and I answered too, my eyes fixated on our potential captors.

“At the count of three, I want you both to run away from here and try by all means to get back home,” Zander told us much to my surprise.

I didn't expect that he would jeopardize his Alpha position for me and Selene.

“What about you guys?” Selene and I asked in unison as though we shared the same thoughts.

“We will try to hold them off,” He answered.

“Will we be safe at home?” I asked.

“No one is permitted to go into an Alphas house without his permission so yeah. Just go! Now!” Lucas yelled.

Selene ran and came to hold my hand. “Since you don’t know how to use your powers yet, I’ll cover for us. Whatever happens, don’t let go of my hand, okay?”

She asked and gave me a reassuring look. I nodded in understanding.
