"Emma!"

The serin jolt awake, looking around her room.

"Who is there?" She called, then got up, opening the door, but no one was there.

She looked at the black and gold wristwatch that Scarlet gave her. To see that it was three am, she groaned and went back to bed, falling into a deep sleep immediately. Dreaming that she was drowning in black water that was all around her, and she couldn't escape.

"Wake up, sleepyhead," Miley said, barging into Emma's room and pulling the drapes open.

''Why are you in my room so early?'' Emma said, stifling a yawn.

"It's quarter past one, Emma. And what's that smell?" Miley walked over to the bed only to stop and ran out of the room.

Miley ran until she saw Scarlet and dragged her along without an explanation.

''Miley, can you let me go?''

"No, I think something is wrong with Emma,'' the younger witch replied.

Scarlet stopped resisting at that and those that were in earshot followed behind the two of them.
