Harlow instinctively jumped to her left in time, before what seemed like a boom went off.

"I don't like trespassers, especially when they are vampires." A voice said.

Harlow snapped her fingers so that whoever it was could become visible.

"How did you do that bloodsucker?"

"What? Temporarily take your powers."

The large man growled before charging at her.

Harlow skilfully jumped and flipped in the air to land behind him.

"Why are you in my territory?"

"Just passing through, if you let me. I will be on my way quickly."

"Passing through? The last set of leeches that were just 'passing through' killed half of my pack."

"I'm not here to kill you or your pack, if I were. You all would be dead already."

The Alpha snarled at her, then quickly shifted and wasted no time in charging at Harlow.
