It wasn't easy for Sacha to see his family again. He had no idea what to expect when he saw his dad again. Would he welcome him with open arms or ask him to leave? Sacha has been standing in front of his grandparents’ house for half an hour when he finally decided to knock. "Oh my gosh..." Agnes screamed loudly before embracing Sacha. "You are here. You're actually here." She exclaimed excitedly. "Agnes, you are going to kill me if you don't lose your grip." Sacha started laughing. "I missed you." "Where the hell did you go?" Agnes stated. "Everyone will be ecstatic when they see you." "It looks like someone found you before I did." Samuel butted in. "I was worried that you wouldn't make it." "You knew that he was coming and you chose to keep it from me. I hate it when you two keep a secret from me." Agnes complained. "Let me announce that you are here." "Go ahead, Agnes." Sacha stated. "I just need a few words with Samuel." "Whatever, just don't take forever. They will be
Raquel’s POV "Your lying." Raquel screamed hysterically. "He is not dead." "I'm sorry but I am telling the truth. Sacha is dead." "No." I kept yelling and crying. "Just tell me we are over. Just tell me you don't love me. Tell me you left me because you think I'm pathetic. Please..." I begged, kneeling in front of him. "Stop crying. I'm sorry." Samuel embraced her. "I don't need your pity." I slapped him repeatedly. "Tell me why... why are you doing this to me. I love you. You meant the world to me." "I know that this is hard for you to hear but you have to accept the truth. I am not Sacha. Sacha is dead." "No..." I cried. "I waited for you. I have been waiting every single day. I can't live without you. The thought of you coming back is the only thing that kept me going. Please... please..." Then everything else became dark. "Here..." Stephanie handed me a glass of water when I woke up. "You can
Raquel’s POVOne plane ride, a sea plane ride and a bus ride I arrived at a port dock with a boat waiting to take me and some passengers to the resort island. I did want to stay somewhere private and isolated I guess I get what I was looking for. I got on the boat and one of the crew helped me with my luggage. They were explaining something about the island while the boat started sailing but I didn't care much about it. I just put on my headset and listened to the music."Miss, let me help you with your luggage.""I got it. Thank you." I replied."Welcome to Island Cove Resort." A group of staff greeted as we arrived and handed out some drinks."Good day everyone. I am Claudette, the general manager of this resort."She started."You can all put your luggage at the reception area first and Diane can give you a tour of the island so you can get an idea of the places you can visit while you are here.
Raquel’s POV I like Claudette. She is really friendly and nice. Rustin, I am definitely intrigued. He is good looking and I can see why girls fall for him. He is like a real life magazine model who came out of the magazine cover. He looks rugged but in a perfect hot sexy way. I just don't like the way he is talking to me. Plus, the fact that he hooks up with girls he barely knows raise a red flag for me. He might have slept with Claire which is a deal breaker. "Oh, hi. Here is your laptop." Claudette handed it to me. "Are you ready or do you still need to get ready?" "I just need a few minutes. Come in." "Wow. I didn't realize you are here to work. I thought you were on vacation." She stated while looking at my drafts scattered on the table and the floor. "I have deadlines to meet and being here seems to do the trick because I was able to create a draft." I replied proudly as I was finishing my make-up. "Thanks f
Raquel’s POV "Room service..." "Seriously?!" I was so surprised when I saw Rustin. "I'm pretty sure you are not a server at this resort." "Well, room service isn't available at this time. It's only until ten in the evening. Luckily for you I was at the bar when you called and had the chef whip something up for you." "Thanks." I grabbed the tray from him. "Just have it charged to my room. I'll try to remember to order before ten next time." "You do realize that this isn't my job but I am doing this to be nice to you." "Fine. Please come in." "Thanks." He looked around the scattered paper on the living room. "You have been busy." "Yes, I am." I replied as I set the food on the table. "What were you watching?" He asked looking at my laptop. "Can you please bring that over here?" "Sure." He replied. "Mind if I join you?" "Do I have a choice?" I said smiling at him. "Let
Raquel’s POVThe way he was looking at me made me feel uneasy. He was looking at me like I was the only thing that he could see. No one had ever looked at me that way before. He wasn't sending butterflies to my stomach or making my knees feel like jelly. It makes me see him. I can't explain it but it was like he wanted me to see his soul and wanted me to really see him for who he is.He moved closer to me and lifted my head so I was staring in his eyes. I moved back and my back hit thewall. I was basically trapped and I had no way to go. I knew what was going to happen and I was excited. He touched my lips with his thumb and I closed my eyes. I felt him moving closer and finally his lips touched mine.I opened my eyes when I felt him move away. I bit my lips and looked at his lips. What the hell was he doing? I would never pass that as a kiss. It was like a light brush of his lips to mine. He smiled at me and kissed me li
Raquel’s POV I spent almost the whole day at the spa. It was very calming and relaxing. It was a much needed relaxation for both my body and mind. It made me forget and just focus on myself. After that I spent the evening binge watching the rest of the series. In the next two days, I spent doing the script of the third season of the series. I was in my work mode and I was in my zone. I spent most of my time inside the cottage while looking at the beach front. After I was done with the script, my mind kept taking me back to Rustin. I see him walking past my cottage and I try to avoid him. I was trying my best to avoid him. I don't know why but every time I wasn't doing anything he was all I could think of. The way he kissed me was so amazing that I can't even compare it with the way Sacha kissed me. I don't know why but I was starting to think of him more than Sacha. He was starting to bother me. I have to get away from this island soon. "Good
Raquel’s POV "Who are you with? Did you come here with your family or friends?" Jean asked when we got to the restaurant. "I came here with my laptop and a ton of workload. Good thing I was able to knock down one of the major thing that needs to be done while I was locked up in my cottage and now I have some minor things that need to be settled." "I wish I could go on a vacation while doing my work." Chloe exclaimed. "Seriously... Vacation is meant to be enjoyed. It is for someone to relax and stay away from work and chaos." Rustin added. "For someone whose life seems like an entire vacation, don't you get bored?" I asked as Claudette joined our table. "No. It's life. You shouldn't bring work on a vacation. It ruins the purpose." "I didn't come here to go on vacation. I came here to find inspiration so I can work." I stated. "Are you trying to convince us or yourself?" Claudette asked.
