She pulled her bra back on, fumbling a little with the clasp, still catching her breath. Her hair stuck to her neck, and the room was too quiet. Isaac was slipping his shirt over his head when she turned toward him.

“We didn’t address the actual issue,” she said, voice still rough. “You posting that damn photo and letting it go viral.”

He looked up, jaw tense. “I didn’t post it.”

She scoffed, bending to pick her jeans off the floor. “You expect me to believe that?”

He stepped closer, dragging his zipper up. “I swear. If that picture’s out there, it means someone was watching us. That’s why I brought you here. We’re not safe until we know who it was.”

She stood still, holding her shirt in her hand. “So someone was watching... and instead of warning me, you dragged me into the woods like I’m some secret you need to hide?”

“I’m trying to protect you.”

She shook her head, rubbing her temple. “You and that word…”

He sighed and leaned against the edge of the counter. “You

She blinked fast, her chest still rising too quick. “Go to hell.” He didn’t flinch. “Been there. Still didn’t feel worse than watching you walk away.” She froze. His thumb stayed right there between her thighs, warm and unrelenting. “You hate me that much, but your body never lies.” “Shut up.” “Say you don’t want me right now and I’ll stop.” Her throat tightened. She tried to push his hand away but her fingers barely closed around his wrist. “You think this fixes anything?” “No,” he said, low. “But it’s the only thing that makes the pain shut up.” She pressed her forehead against his chest, her breath hot, uneven. “You shouldn’t touch me.” “I know.” His hand didn’t move. “Then why are you still doing it?” “Because I miss you so bad I don’t know how to breathe.” Her hands curled into his shirt. She bit the inside of her cheek so hard it almost bled. “I’m not okay.” “I know,” he whispered, leaning closer. “Me either.” She didn’t kiss him. He didn’t ask. T

The car slowed to a stop, gravel crunching under the tyres until everything went quiet. Isabel looked around. They were deep in the trees now. There were no lights, houses, just leaves and thick forest on every side. “Why are we stopping here?” Isaac didn’t answer right away. He turned off the engine and leaned over her seat. She jerked back. “What are you doing?” His fingers brushed the buckle. “Taking off your seatbelt.” “I can do it myself.” The belt unclicked. His arm lingered too close to her chest for too long. She could feel the warmth of him, smell the faint trace of something clean and expensive on his collar. He pulled back without a word, stepped out, and closed his door. She watched him move around the car. The leaves shifted in the breeze, and the light above the trees barely touched the ground. He opened her door and held it. She didn’t move. He reached for her wrist and tugged her out. She stumbled slightly, catching herself on the side of th

Isabel twisted her arm, still trying to pull free, but his grip didn't loosen. He backed her up until her back hit the wall. His chest pressed into hers, she winced from how her tits pushed up against the fabric of her outfit. Her breath caught. "Get off me," she snapped at him, her voice rising and even louder than when she had been outside. "Stop fighting me." Her palm shoved at his shoulder. "Let go of my damn wrist, Isaac." He didn't flinch. His chest rose and fell against hers, the air between them getting hotter by the second. Her free hand pushed again, but he had her locked in place. "I need you to listen to me," he said. "I don't want to hear anything-" she hated how weak she felt beside him and how she was unable to free herself from his hold when she'd only come to let him have a piece of her mind. "Isabel." His tone dropped lower. She struggled again, trying to wriggle her body from under his, but it only made his chest press harder into hers. Her br

She opened her browser and typed in his name. Isaac Dun. She hadn’t searched him in years and the first thing that came up was a recent photo of him stepping out of a sleek black car. She scrolled down and it was his company with the location and building address in this city. She stared at it for a second before grabbing her purse. The cab ride was quiet. She kept checking her phone, unlocking it, then locking it again. The article was still there. So was the image. The world had seen it, her skin, his bed. It was everywhere. She pressed the phone face-down on her lap and looked out the window. It made her sick. How he could stay invisible for years and still have the power to ruin everything in seconds. She had spent so long avoiding the spotlight, hiding her name, hiding her past. And now, because of him, all of it was back. The cab slowed down. She looked up. It was huge, the building, of course. All glass and metal. People walked in and out without looki

Isabel stared at the message, her jaw tightening. "Send your account details for the deposit." She blinked, like she was seeing it wrong. Her fingers curled around the phone, grip tightening. She sat down on the edge of the couch, phone still in her hand. "Are you fucking kidding me?" she muttered. She tapped the screen, reread the message. There was no name, no follow-up, no softness. Just the message. Cold. Straight to the point. Her lips parted like she wanted to say something but couldn’t find the words. She ran her hand down her face. "So that's what I am? A fucking invoice?" She stood up quickly, pacing across the room. The kids were still in the other room watching cartoons. She pressed the side of her phone and blocked the number. "Asshole," she said under her breath. She has set it up but she didn't expect him to actually treat her like a prostitute. She didn’t even care how he got her number. Maybe he already had it saved. Maybe he bought it off someone
