Mark looked exactly the way I remember him to be. Dirty blonde hairs that fall over his right eyes, just the way I like them to be, deep green eyes, and the tiny dots of freckles over his nose that you'll only notice when you move closer to this.

My eyes didn't miss the fact that Mark has gotten leaner. The last time I saw him, I was his girlfriend, kissing him goodbye after getting that call that I should come home from my father. That was before everything changed, before I knew I'm to marry Sebastian Spenser.

Now, things have changed. I'm married. I never even got to say goodbye to him, I tried calling and imagined the shock on his face when he saw the news.

"Mark…" I paused, not knowing what to say. He didn't deserve any of this. I'm too shocked to even tell him that.
