"You're back early today"

Sebastian has his back turned, typing on his laptop again. I wonder if he ever gets off it.

He turned when he noticed my presence in the room.

"You weren't in when I came in. Hannah said you were out" His voice was calm.

"I went shopping for things I need"

"Sarah could do that for you."

"No, I wanted to get out… "

I've been stuck here doing nothing.

He nodded and that was it he went back typing off on his laptop. I couldn't tell him I met Mark, not that he cares or he had a restriction on the people I can meet.

"Get out and meet people?" He said not looking up from what he was typing.

Excuse me? I laughed. "I don't get what you mean by that." I moved away from him and dropped my clutch purse on my dressing table at the other end of the bedroom. Since we now share a bedroom, it's difficult doing things without his prying eyes following me around.

Right now, I just want to get away from him and avoid the topic I know is coming.
