The Footage

The news hit me like a thunderbolt, and I watched in shock as Magnus's face contorted with rage and concern. As the car sped back to the council's meeting place, the tension in the air grew even thicker as many questions ran through my head. My heart raced, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of dread about the escalating situation.

When we arrived back at the council's chambers, the scene was different. There were some people gathered around the entrance. We could see Mr Thompson arguing about something with the staff members working there. We ran towards him and he headed for us once he saw us. He looked grim and agitated that he appeared to have aged more in the few minutes that I saw him.

"Glad you came back quickly. Dreadful business, we can't believe it." He said, shaking his head.

"Where is he now?" Magnus said, looking past him.

"They are all inside, they didn't go far when it happened so so I called them back."
