MasukIt is the wedding day, I am already very nervous and Liam's behavior from yesterday isn't helping at all. I looked at my reflection in the mirror. The crown, open hair, glam makeup and white fish cut dress with a long veil and a flower bouquet in my hands.
{Alan's pov} I was at the entrance of the hotel when Hazel's Father approached me. “Is Liam ready Alan?” I don't know the answer, I have witnessed him from the morning “I will go check on him.” I walked towards his room, I opened the door just to witness Liam's parents there. but Liam wasn't there. “Where's Liam, uncle?” I asked and he looked at me with disappointment. “He is not here.” His father replied and I frowned in confusion, if he is not here then where Is he? “We found this note here.” His forwarded the note and I took it from her. ‘I am not doing this marriage, I like ruby Father I have told you but you were stubborn and didn't listen to me’ the note stated these words. “If you knew that he wasn't happy with this marriage, why did you force him into this? I know I have no right to question you. But what now ?” His mother came towards me and held my hands. “Child please do us a favor, please marry her. The guests are here and we can't let Hazel's family get disrespected because of us.” I immediately stepped back, No that's not even possible. “I can't do this, we barely know each other.” she started begging. how am I supposed to make her understand? “Alright don't do this, you are older than me, but I would like to talk to Hazel first.” they immediately agreed. I tried to make them understand that it's not possible but they are just stubborn, it's alright I will just talk to Hazel I am sure she will deny this marriage. I walked towards Her room while Liam's parents went to talk to Hazel's parents. I knocked on the door and she opened it, God she is gorgeous, ethereal. “um, can we talk?” she nodded, giving me the way to step inside. I stepped inside and looked at her. “Look Hazel, Liam disappeared from this wedding.” she smiled, has she gone mad? why is she smiling? “Stop pranking me Alan” she commented. am I looking like someone who would prank someone? seriously? “No, I am serious. He left this note.” I passed her the note and she read it. She immediately fell on the floor, I kneeled down in front of her and held her shoulders. “Hazel, calm down.” I patted her shoulder and she wiped her tears. Well that's heartbreaking, I can't relate but it can be looking at her state. “I knew something was off, his behavior changed the day ruby arrived. I know, what will happen now.” She cried and I couldn't help but just stare at her. I don't know how to stop her from crying - I have never done that. “Hazel, will you marry me?” No I wasn't supposed to ask that, but I don't know what got into me all of sudden. She looked at me with wide eyes and I held her hands. “I mean there are a lot of guests, you can divorce me afterwards.” she shook her head as in no, understandable. “It's not a game Alan. It's not how everything works.” She said standing up and I helped her. “We can give a try to this marriage, I will give my best to this marriage if you marry me.” Where am I getting this much guts from? How can I say all this? “No, why would you Sacrifice yourself for Your friend?” She questioned. well I am not doing this for Liam but her. I don't know why, but I just feel attached with her. We just met yesterday but still. “I am not doing this for my friend at all.” just then the door opened revealing Her parents. I looked at them and was about to step out of the room when her father's voice stopped me. “Please marry my daughter.” He said and I immediately looked at Hazel. “What? Why?” She roared and her father looked at her. “Because we have some reputation in society, there are respected people as guests and we have some respect in society. just marry him.” He explained and Hazel chuckled. “Am I a joke dad?” She questioned and he joined his hands in front of her. “Please?” He pleaded and she looked at me with tears in her eyes. “Will you marry me?” She asked, what? Is it happening for real? But this is so sudden, I am not prepared for it. “Yes” I said, what? No. ……… *Hazel's POV* The doors opened and I took a deep breath, I slowly walked inside while my eyes were cascaded down. My father approached me and I held his hand, he walked me on the aisle. As I reached the end of the aisle I slowly looked up just To witness Alan, he was looking breathtaking for real. But this is all way too weird. My father passed my hands into his and he gently held my hand. I stood in front of him while the priest came ahead. “Mr. Alan Martin, do you take Miss. Hazel Watson as your lawful wife, to have and hold to, from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and cherish until death do you part?” the priest’s voice echoed. After a couple of seconds he said “I do”. I could feel his grip on my hand tighten. “Miss. Hazel Watson, do you take Mr. Alan Martin as your lawful husband, to have and hold to, from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and cherish until death do you part?” The priest asked me, I was all blank. All I could think about was Liam and Ruby. “Hazel?” my chain of thoughts broke from his soft voice and I looked at him. And I realized I have to say it now. “I do.” I answered “I now announce you both a married couple, Congratulations Mr. And Mrs. Martin. The groom may kiss the bride now.” the host said and I looked at him. Is this how our first kiss is going to be? He snaked his hand around my waist and pulled me closer to him, he leaned in to match my height. Our lips were inches apart, I could feel his breath on my face. And then I felt him putting his thumb on my lips and kissing on his thumb. It was in a way that from front it looked like he actually kissed me but he didn't, clever. He stepped back and we turned towards the crowd with a fake smile of course. ………. “Hazel I will arrange the divorce papers you shouldn't go with him.” My father spoke, what do they think of me. “Why can't I go with him?” I asked and my father looked at me stunned. “What do you mean? You don't even know him that well.” Literally Should I laugh or cry on my father's words. “So you can ask me to get married to a guy I don't know for reputation and then you are stopping from going with him. What am I dad? A toy? A doll?” I asked and my father looked at me stunned. “What if he is not willing to accept you then?” My father questioned and this time I don't have reply. “I am willing to accept this marriage.” His voice echoed in the room and my father looked at him. “Will you take a good care of her?” My father showed his concern like he wasn't the one who got me married to him. “Sir I always will, and I will let her go if she wants to and will let her stay if she wants to.” He spoke, is he really a green flag or disguised as a Green flag?{Third person's pov}Hazel sat in the balcony, with a book in her hand, and her another hand caressed her eight months old baby bump softly.Alan was not at home, He was at the office and she was alone when her phone rang. She looked at the caller ID and a smile immediately laced her face, it was her husband. She picked it up and placed it near her ear, "When will you come back?" she asked. The moment Alan heard her voice, the exhaustion of the day seemed to fade a little. “Hello to you too, baby.”He teased softly through the phone. “Not even a ‘how was your day?’ Just straight to ‘when are you coming home?’”Hazel smiled despite herself. “Because I already know the answer to the first question.” She replied.“You worked too much and probably skipped lunch again.” Alan winced. “…I plead the fifth.”Hazel immediately sighed. “Alan.”“I had coffee.” He offered weakly. Hazel groaned, and Alan laughed quietly on the other end of the line.“Okay, okay. I promise I'll eat something before
{Third person's pov}Hazel walked inside the room where Alan was doing something on his laptop, even though it was Sunday."Alan.... it's Sunday! let's go somewhere, maybe we can buy stuffs to decorate our baby's room..." Hazel said as she walked towards him and closed his laptop. Alan blinked in surprise as his laptop snapped shut mid-email. “Hey...”He looked up at Hazel standing in front of him with her hands on the laptop, clearly determined. And just like that, whatever he had been working on stopped mattering. His eyes drifted down instinctively to her growing baby bump before a helpless smile spread across his face.“You want to go baby shopping?”Hazel nodded excitedly. “And decorate the nursery.”Alan leaned back in his chair slowly, pretending to think hard about it. “Hm… I don’t know. I’m very busy. Important businessman things.”Hazel narrowed her eyes immediately. “Alan.”He broke into laughter almost instantly and reached for her hand, gently pulling her into his lap. “
{Third person's pov}A month later, Hazel walked towards Alan who was sitting on the couch and watching a web series, She sat on his lap with her five months old baby bump. Alan instantly paused the show the moment Hazel settled onto his lap, one hand moving automatically to support her bump while the other wrapped around her waist.“There’s my favorite person.” He murmured warmly before glancing down at her stomach.“…and my second favorite person.” Hazel laughed softly. Alan leaned down and kissed her forehead before resting his palm gently over the curve of her bump.“So…” A teasing smile appeared. “To what do I owe this beautiful interruption?”Hazel shrugged innocently and cuddled closer against his chest. “I was missing you.”Alan visibly melted. “Baby…” He sighed dramatically."You can’t say things like that when I’m already obsessed with you.”Hazel giggled quietly while Alan rubbed slow circles over her bump absentmindedly. Then suddenly, His hand froze. His eyes widened. “…
{Third person's pov}After spending a month on bed Hazel was finally recovering, and after getting the permission of her doctor they were allowed to travel back to their place. They arrived at their house, and Alan left to attend and take care of all the missed meetings. Hazel was alone when the door bell rang, she slowly stood up and opened the door just to witness Ema.The moment the door opened, Ema’s eyes immediately dropped to Hazel’s small baby bump before she dramatically gasped. “Oh my God.”Without even greeting her properly, she rushed forward and hugged Hazel carefully. “You’re finally back!”Hazel laughed softly, hugging her back. “Hi to you too.”Ema pulled back and held Hazel’s face gently, inspecting her like an overprotective sister. “How are you feeling? Are you okay? Is the baby okay? Is Alan still behaving like an overprotective bodyguard?”Hazel couldn’t help laughing again. “Yes, yes, and yes.”Ema scoffed knowingly while walking inside the apartment. “That man
{Third person's pov}It's been a week since they were at her parents' house, Alan had to postpone a lot of meetings, but anything for his wife obviously.Hazel was upstairs while Alan was sitting in the living room with her father. "Alan, You are getting a call." Hazel came out of the room with his mobile phone and suddenly her legs slipped on the stairs. There was just her yelling and everyone was shocked. "HAZEL!!!" Her father and Alan shouted at the same time as they saw her falling down the stairs and ran towards her. Everything happened too fast. One second Hazel was standing there with his phone in her hand and the next, she slipped.Alan’s entire body reacted before his mind could even process it. He sprinted toward the stairs, his heart stopping the moment he saw her hit the steps.By the time he reached her, Hazel was at the bottom of the staircase, visibly shaken and in pain. “Baby... baby, look at me.”Alan dropped to his knees beside her instantly, his hands trembling
{Third person's pov}Hazel and Alan arrived at Hazel's parents after a very long journey.Hazel and Alan were sitting in the living room with her mother and father, her head rested on her mother's shoulder. Hazel’s mother gently stroked her hair while smiling softly, clearly emotional herself after seeing her daughter after so long.“My child…” She murmured lovingly. “You’ve become thinner.”Alan immediately looked up from the cup of tea in his hand. “She absolutely has not.”Hazel’s father chuckled quietly while Hazel laughed against her mother’s shoulder.Alan leaned back slightly on the couch, one arm stretched comfortably behind Hazel, his posture relaxed in a way it rarely was outside home.“She’s actually eating more than me nowadays.” He added with mock seriousness. Hazel shot him a look.“Alan.”“What?” He smiled innocently.“I’m just reporting facts.”Her mother laughed warmly before looking at Alan with softened eyes. “You take good care of her.”Alan’s expression immediate
