LOGINIt is the wedding day, I am already very nervous and Liam's behavior from yesterday isn't helping at all. I looked at my reflection in the mirror. The crown, open hair, glam makeup and white fish cut dress with a long veil and a flower bouquet in my hands.
{Alan's pov} I was at the entrance of the hotel when Hazel's Father approached me. “Is Liam ready Alan?” I don't know the answer, I have witnessed him from the morning “I will go check on him.” I walked towards his room, I opened the door just to witness Liam's parents there. but Liam wasn't there. “Where's Liam, uncle?” I asked and he looked at me with disappointment. “He is not here.” His father replied and I frowned in confusion, if he is not here then where Is he? “We found this note here.” His forwarded the note and I took it from her. ‘I am not doing this marriage, I like ruby Father I have told you but you were stubborn and didn't listen to me’ the note stated these words. “If you knew that he wasn't happy with this marriage, why did you force him into this? I know I have no right to question you. But what now ?” His mother came towards me and held my hands. “Child please do us a favor, please marry her. The guests are here and we can't let Hazel's family get disrespected because of us.” I immediately stepped back, No that's not even possible. “I can't do this, we barely know each other.” she started begging. how am I supposed to make her understand? “Alright don't do this, you are older than me, but I would like to talk to Hazel first.” they immediately agreed. I tried to make them understand that it's not possible but they are just stubborn, it's alright I will just talk to Hazel I am sure she will deny this marriage. I walked towards Her room while Liam's parents went to talk to Hazel's parents. I knocked on the door and she opened it, God she is gorgeous, ethereal. “um, can we talk?” she nodded, giving me the way to step inside. I stepped inside and looked at her. “Look Hazel, Liam disappeared from this wedding.” she smiled, has she gone mad? why is she smiling? “Stop pranking me Alan” she commented. am I looking like someone who would prank someone? seriously? “No, I am serious. He left this note.” I passed her the note and she read it. She immediately fell on the floor, I kneeled down in front of her and held her shoulders. “Hazel, calm down.” I patted her shoulder and she wiped her tears. Well that's heartbreaking, I can't relate but it can be looking at her state. “I knew something was off, his behavior changed the day ruby arrived. I know, what will happen now.” She cried and I couldn't help but just stare at her. I don't know how to stop her from crying - I have never done that. “Hazel, will you marry me?” No I wasn't supposed to ask that, but I don't know what got into me all of sudden. She looked at me with wide eyes and I held her hands. “I mean there are a lot of guests, you can divorce me afterwards.” she shook her head as in no, understandable. “It's not a game Alan. It's not how everything works.” She said standing up and I helped her. “We can give a try to this marriage, I will give my best to this marriage if you marry me.” Where am I getting this much guts from? How can I say all this? “No, why would you Sacrifice yourself for Your friend?” She questioned. well I am not doing this for Liam but her. I don't know why, but I just feel attached with her. We just met yesterday but still. “I am not doing this for my friend at all.” just then the door opened revealing Her parents. I looked at them and was about to step out of the room when her father's voice stopped me. “Please marry my daughter.” He said and I immediately looked at Hazel. “What? Why?” She roared and her father looked at her. “Because we have some reputation in society, there are respected people as guests and we have some respect in society. just marry him.” He explained and Hazel chuckled. “Am I a joke dad?” She questioned and he joined his hands in front of her. “Please?” He pleaded and she looked at me with tears in her eyes. “Will you marry me?” She asked, what? Is it happening for real? But this is so sudden, I am not prepared for it. “Yes” I said, what? No. ……… *Hazel's POV* The doors opened and I took a deep breath, I slowly walked inside while my eyes were cascaded down. My father approached me and I held his hand, he walked me on the aisle. As I reached the end of the aisle I slowly looked up just To witness Alan, he was looking breathtaking for real. But this is all way too weird. My father passed my hands into his and he gently held my hand. I stood in front of him while the priest came ahead. “Mr. Alan Martin, do you take Miss. Hazel Watson as your lawful wife, to have and hold to, from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and cherish until death do you part?” the priest’s voice echoed. After a couple of seconds he said “I do”. I could feel his grip on my hand tighten. “Miss. Hazel Watson, do you take Mr. Alan Martin as your lawful husband, to have and hold to, from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and cherish until death do you part?” The priest asked me, I was all blank. All I could think about was Liam and Ruby. “Hazel?” my chain of thoughts broke from his soft voice and I looked at him. And I realized I have to say it now. “I do.” I answered “I now announce you both a married couple, Congratulations Mr. And Mrs. Martin. The groom may kiss the bride now.” the host said and I looked at him. Is this how our first kiss is going to be? He snaked his hand around my waist and pulled me closer to him, he leaned in to match my height. Our lips were inches apart, I could feel his breath on my face. And then I felt him putting his thumb on my lips and kissing on his thumb. It was in a way that from front it looked like he actually kissed me but he didn't, clever. He stepped back and we turned towards the crowd with a fake smile of course. ………. “Hazel I will arrange the divorce papers you shouldn't go with him.” My father spoke, what do they think of me. “Why can't I go with him?” I asked and my father looked at me stunned. “What do you mean? You don't even know him that well.” Literally Should I laugh or cry on my father's words. “So you can ask me to get married to a guy I don't know for reputation and then you are stopping from going with him. What am I dad? A toy? A doll?” I asked and my father looked at me stunned. “What if he is not willing to accept you then?” My father questioned and this time I don't have reply. “I am willing to accept this marriage.” His voice echoed in the room and my father looked at him. “Will you take a good care of her?” My father showed his concern like he wasn't the one who got me married to him. “Sir I always will, and I will let her go if she wants to and will let her stay if she wants to.” He spoke, is he really a green flag or disguised as a Green flag?{Third person's pov}it was a Sunday morning, Hazel woke up and found the bed empty she frowned and wore the silk robe of her night gown and walked out of the room.the living room was empty too, she frowned and made her way towards his study, she opened the door slowly just to witness him doing something on his laptop."Good morning," He said with a smile as soon as he saw her entering his study, "Good morning, husband." She whispered and lazily walked towards him.she sat on his lap and hugged him, "It's Sunday, Why are you working today?" she asked. Alan smiled the moment she settled into his lap, one arm instantly wrapping around her waist while the other closed the laptop halfway, clearly she had just become his priority.“Mm… I was trying to work.” He corrected softly, his voice warm, a hint of amusement in it as his fingers brushed lazily along her back.“But then my wife walked in…” He leaned in, pressing a slow, lingering kiss to her shoulder, his nose brushing lightly again
{Third person's pov}Hazel looked at him, "Yeah It does matter, and now let's tell Liam to get out of here, I don't want to see him here." She said. She tried to stand up from his lap but he gripped her waist making her frown.Alan didn’t let her move. His grip on her waist tightened just enough to stop her, his eyes darkening, not with anger this time, but something far more intense… protective, possessive in a quiet, controlled way."Let him wait.” his voice was low, steady now, no trace of the drunken mess from before. He studied her face for a second, like he was grounding himself in her presence, making sure this, she was real.“You just told me you love me…” His thumb brushed slowly along her side, almost absentminded, but his gaze never left hers.“And your first instinct is to walk away?” There was a faint edge of hurt there, but softer, almost teasing underneath it.He leaned in slightly, voice dropping to a murmur.“I’m not done with you yet.” A pause. His forehead touched h

She asked as he sat on the chair. "Does it matter?" He asked."Yes it does matter," Hazel replied, "Why does it matter Ha
{Third person's pov}"Liam!" Alan said and suddenly Liam hugged Alan, "Dude you don't even know how much I missed you."Liam said and broke the hug, Alan stared at him blankly and before he could say anything Alan found Liam looking behind him, he turned around just to witness Liam staring at Hazel.Hazel stood there frozen, Now when she was moving on in life there stood her past, Liam, her ex fiancé."What is she doing here?" Liam looked at Alan and then made his way towards Hazel."finally, I found you! I have been trying so hard to get in contact with you, but I couldn't." Hazel stared at the floor and before she could reply or react Liam pulled her into his embrace.Hazel stiffened, While Alan stood at a distance watching the two of them. She pushed Liam and looked into his eyes, her eyes held tears, "stay away..." she said and ran inside her room.Liam looked at Alan and smiled, "She must be flustered after seeing me after so long." Alan didn't say anything."Thank you for taking
{Third person's pov}After having the dinner both Hazel and Alan decided to watch movie, They were on the same couch, cuddling, his hands circled around her while she played with his fingers."You know today a girl from next door came, she was so nice and soft spoken, her name is Ema." Hazel told him.Alan raised an eyebrow at what she said, his expression turning just a little colder. "Ema, huh?" His arms tightened around her subconsciously. He couldn't help the small spike of jealousy at the mention of some other girl being nice and soft-spoken. He tried to play it cool, though. "So what, she wanted to borrow sugar or something?" He grunted.Hazel frowned, "No, she was here because she was bored at her house, And she gave me a nice company whole day." "So what'd you two talk about the whole day?" he asked gruffly, trying to keep his tone nonchalant."Random things, we were just getting to know each and you know what? she said she heard me last night." Hazel said softly. "Was I tha

She picked up a shirt for him from the couch and wore it before walking out the bedroom, She was still limping. Alan was in the kitchen, cooking breakfast when he heard the sound of footsteps from behind. He looked over his shoulder to see Hazel walking into the kitchen, her legs still a little shaky. He smiled to himself, the sight of her in his shirt making his heart do a little flip. "Look who's up," he said gruffly, turning back to the stove. "You're walking pretty fine," She chuckled and sat on the slab, "Only I know how hardly I can walk right now." Alan's smile widened at her comment as he continued cooking. There was something about the way she teased him that he found both frustrating and endearin
