{Hazel's pov}

It was the pre wedding party today and I was getting dressed for it. Well I am happy that I am getting married to Liam, I mean we basically know each other since we were kids. He is my father's friend's son so yeah we met a couple of times. He is really sweet and talkative just like me. Well I can't wait to marry him and have a bright future with him.

“Hazel, hurry up.” my mother's voice echoed from outside and I looked at my reflection for one last time before going out. Perfect, the bodycon dress fits my curves perfectly, and the theme was olive and black. So I wore this olive dress with black details.

I walked outside just to witness everyone gathered up and as soon as they saw me they applauded.

“Here's the bride.” my father happily spoke and I smiled walking towards him and giving him a hug.

“Can I have my bride?” We heard Liam say and my father nodded, he forwarded his hand and I held it walking with him.

“Come let me introduce you to my friends.” he dragged me with him, as I struggled to match his pace.

“This is Emily, my college friend. This is Nichole, my childhood friend. This is Edward, we work together. And she is Ruby, my best friend.” He introduced and I smiled at them.

“Hello I am Hazel Watson.” they all passed a warm smile, except Ruby? What's wrong with her expressions? Well nevermind.

“Let me introduce you to my college time best friend. Come with me.” he again dragged me, this guy can't he walk Normally? We walked towards a corner where I could see the back of a tall guy who was busy on his phone.

“Alan” Liam called out and he turned around, is he for real? He looks like a piece of art. Ok I should not Simp over my Fiance’s friend.

“Hazel, he is Alan.” Liam introduced and I smiled at him forwarding my hand for handshake

“Hello, I am Hazel Watson.” I introduced myself and he just nodded and forwarded his hand for a handshake.

As soon as our skins came in contact I felt a spark running all over my body, and the way he took his hand back I assume he felt kind of the same. - weird.

“I will join you both.” Liam said as he got a call and walked towards the Garden. I looked at Alan who was just looking at Liam's figure.

“So what do you do?” I questioned just to initiate a conversation, and he looked at me.

“I am a businessman, I own a company” he spoke, damn his voice. - so deep and melodious.

“That's great” I looked towards the Garden just to notice Liam and Ruby together, I mean maybe they were casually talking. I already hate that Ruby, I don't know the reason but I still do.

“Do you think Liam is a good choice for you?” his sudden question made me turn my head towards his direction and frown with confusion.

“Of course because he is, he treats everyone nicely, he is talkative, he loves to make everyone happy.” he actually treats everyone nicely, and he loves playing with kids. also he respects my parents too. so what else do we need?

“Does he make you happy?” He bombarded another question and for a while I became blank. I mean Liam is a great guy who treats my family as his but what about me? Well he takes care of me too.

“Yes he does” Alan nodded walking outside of the room and towards Liam. I shrugged off and joined my friends - why was he asking such questions, isn't that to ask someone such questions when you are meeting for the very first time. but it's alright he is Liam's friend so.

……….

I walked outside with a glass of soft drink in my hands and just then I felt someone collide with me, it was ruby. We both fell because of our high heels and the drink I was holding was spilled all over her.

Liam and Alan were standing at a distance and they immediately approached us. “Are you both alright?” Liam asked and I nodded rubbing my hands to make the dust fall.

“The drink is all over me.” Ruby complained and Liam immediately took off his blazer and helped her stand up first and then made her wear the blazer.

What the hell, I am his Fiancee. He should help me first. He then offered his hands to me but I ignored it and stood up by myself.

I stood up and rubbed the dust off my dress, but as I was about to take a step I stumbled and was about to fall when I felt someone holding me. damn I thought I was going to kiss the land today.

I looked at his face. It was Alan. But Liam was unbothered, he is better from close up, - shut up, you are getting married tomorrow.

“Are you alright?” He supported me to stand properly and I nodded in response.

“Liam, I think she is hurt and Can't walk, you should take her inside.” Alan spoke, gaining Liam's attention. but Liam's face showed zero concern for me.

“Ruby is hurt too, and her dress is ruined. Please wait for a while Hazel, let me help her first.” Liam spoke, he has been behaving differently since ruby has arrived. It should be me who should matter to him, not that ruby.

And with that he walked away. Am I already regretting all this? - yes I am.

“Come.” Alan's voice brought me out my thoughts and I looked at him. He supported me to walk but my ankle wasn't helping.

“Don't mind me.” Before I could ask why he said that he lifted me up in bridal style and walked inside.

“Where's your room?”I told him the directions, yes we were staying in a hotel currently for the wedding.

He walked inside the room as I opened the door and placed me on the bed. He kneeled down in front of me and removed my sandals.

He gently held my ankle and twisted it, I immediately clutched his shirt due to pain but then I felt relieved immediately.

“I think it won't trouble you anymore.” I rotated my foot, and it wasn't hurting anymore. woah he is good at it.

“Thank-you so much” I mentioned and he nodded walking out of the room.

I threw my body on the bed and stared at the ceiling.

“should I just call off this marriage?” I questioned myself and sighed - then what about our family's reputation. I can't just cancel this marriage, it's tomorrow.

“It's too late” I was talking to myself when the door opened revealing Liam. I looked at him as he walked inside and sat on the bed.

“Is your leg better?” I rolled my eyes, now he remembered that I was hurt too? that time all he cared about was about that ruby.

“Is Ruby better?” I asked and looked back at the ceiling.

“I am asking about you and you are asking about her.” I frowned before sitting up. look at that cunningness.

“Shouldn't you be more concerned about me? Rather than being concerned about your best friend?” well my reaction and question both were valid, I stated the facts and it's our wedding tomorrow.

“What the problem is that Hazel, she is my best friend of course she will Matter to me.” He explained, making me stunned. so his best friend matters more than his soon to be wife - Great.

“It should be me who should Matter the most.” I roared and he rolled his eyes.

“If you wanna do the drama right now I am leaving.” He walked out leaving me speechless. What the hell, I am marrying this guy? Who doesn't even care about me? I held my hair in frustration and closed my eyes.

  • A matter of fate~   Chapter. 18

{Third person's pov}After having the dinner both Hazel and Alan decided to watch movie, They were on the same couch, cuddling, his hands circled around her while she played with his fingers."You know today a girl from next door came, she was so nice and soft spoken, her name is Ema." Hazel told him.Alan raised an eyebrow at what she said, his expression turning just a little colder. "Ema, huh?" His arms tightened around her subconsciously. He couldn't help the small spike of jealousy at the mention of some other girl being nice and soft-spoken. He tried to play it cool, though. "So what, she wanted to borrow sugar or something?" He grunted.Hazel frowned, "No, she was here because she was bored at her house, And she gave me a nice company whole day." "So what'd you two talk about the whole day?" he asked gruffly, trying to keep his tone nonchalant."Random things, we were just getting to know each and you know what? she said she heard me last night." Hazel said softly. "Was I tha

{Third person's pov}Hazel woke up just to find herself naked in the sheets, He wasn't in the room. She could hear the sound of utensils in the kitchen.she was cleaned, which meant he cleaned her after all the mess he created last night, She stood up with her still weak legs. She picked up a shirt for him from the couch and wore it before walking out the bedroom, She was still limping. Alan was in the kitchen, cooking breakfast when he heard the sound of footsteps from behind. He looked over his shoulder to see Hazel walking into the kitchen, her legs still a little shaky. He smiled to himself, the sight of her in his shirt making his heart do a little flip. "Look who's up," he said gruffly, turning back to the stove. "You're walking pretty fine," She chuckled and sat on the slab, "Only I know how hardly I can walk right now." Alan's smile widened at her comment as he continued cooking. There was something about the way she teased him that he found both frustrating and endearin

{Third person's pov}He took his time moving down, his kisses lingering on her skin. Each touch left a burning trail across her body, as if he was mapping her skin. When he reached her chest, he paused briefly before going lower. His eyes met hers, dark and intent, in a silent question. And when she responded with a shaky nod, only then he lowered his mouth onto her, sucking, biting, marking her as his. He sucked each of her peaks softly and then bit it making her gasp and arch her back. He knew she was totally turned on now, "Should I go further?" He asked and Hazel nodded, She wanted that, No! she actually needed that. His fingers hooked in the waistband of her panties and slowly he pulled them down and threw it on the floor, His eyes met hers before he finally looked at her most intimate part. He sucked a deep breath, his own member reacting immediately. He brushed one finger over her warmness making her shiver and clutch the sheets. He brought his finger to his lips they were

{Third person's pov}Alan wasted no time, his grip tightened, pulling her flush against him. The kiss was rough at first, fueled by frustration and something else he couldn't quite name. But when she gasped in surprise, he softened slightly, just enough to let his thumb brush along her cheekbone as if to say, "You asked for this." He broke the kiss only when he needed air, "There," he muttered gruffly against her lips. "That's better than cigarettes."She bit her lips as he broke the kiss, her cheeks turned pink immediately, her hands were still clutching his biceps. "You are unpredictable." Alan smirked at her words, clearly enjoying the way she was reacting to him. He leaned in closer, his voice a low murmur against her ear."Unpredictable?" he repeated with a dark chuckle. "You have no idea what I'm capable of." His hands slid from her cheeks down to grip the back of her waist firmly, almost possessively. She smiled and tucked her hair behind her ear, "Shall we sleep?" she asked

{Third person's pov} As he entered the room Hazel looked up at him as she was sitting on the couch, He didn't say anything and walked inside the wardrobe and took out a bag. "What are you doing?" she asked. "We are leaving, Pack your clothes." He said, Hazel's eyes widened in surprise at his sudden declaration. "What? Leaving?" she repeated, her voice edged with confusion. "Leaving where?" She stood up from the couch, a small frown on her face as she watched him rummage in the wardrobe. The abruptness of his decision was jarring, she hadn't expected this. Alan stopped what he was doing when she said that, his hands pausing mid-air. He turned to look at her, his expression unreadable for a moment. "You think I can just... stay after this?" His voice was rough with anger and something else, something hurt. "You really want to keep living under the same roof as people who treat you like that?" "But she is your mom, Alan," Hazel said and Alan spoke softly, "And you are my wife, Ha

  • A matter of fate~   Chapter. 13

{Third person's pov}Hazel was sitting in her bedroom upstairs, She was curled up on the floor, her hands clutched her knees and her head was placed on the edge of the bed. Her face had dried tear marks, and her cheeks were still red where his mother hit her. It was late at night when Alan returned, he walked inside the room just to witness her sleeping while sitting on the floor. He walked towards her and knelt in front of her, his eyes immediately scanned the tear marks and the red print on her face."Hazel..." he called out softly and Hazel opened her eyes, she looked at him and her eyes immediately teared up. "What happened?" he asked, his hands immediately cupping her face. She didn't say anything and immediately hugged him, "I don't want to be here Alan." she said as she cried hard. When she hugged him, he wrapped his arms around her tightly, pulling her into his chest. He cursed silently, anger mixing with worry in a dangerous combination. He'd left for a few hours and this
