Hazel woke up with the sound of the Alarm and looked towards Alan who was sleeping on the couch, she took a deep breath and sat on the bed. Alan groans and turns over at the couch as the alarm was blaring, he wasn't fully awake but when he got somewhat comfortable again, he slowly opened his eyes and sighed at the realization that it was morning again. He sat up and slowly looked over to Hazel who was sitting on the bed "Ugh.. already time for alarms.." Hazel stared at him and snoozed the alarm before getting up from the bed and making her way towards the washroom. Alan watched as Hazel got up and made her way to the washroom, he let out a small sigh as he sat there for a moment before slowly getting up and walking to his closet to grab his morning work clothes. "Hey, you going to be done there soon ? I need to take a shower too.." Hazel was washing her face when his voice reached her ears, she immediately washed her face and opened the door just to find him standing right there. Alan stepped back a bit as the door opened and was greeted by Hazel standing infront him. Just by the look on her face he could tell she was not happy at all "What's with the grumpy look early in the morning ? And I thought I was the one known for looking angry all the time." He said as he crossed his arms and leaned against the wall, looking at her. "this is how I look." she said with a frown and walked out of the bathroom. He watched as she walked out of the bathroom and rolled his eyes at her attitude "Yeah you sure do. You wake up and start the day with a frown and a pissed off look on your face every day.." "do you want to have some sort of argument right now? because everyday when I try to talk to you, you show your rude and cold side, did I complain about that?" Hazel asked and walked towards the balcony not giving him a chance to speak. Alan stood there for a moment silently not liking her comment or tone one bit before following her towards the balcony "What's that supposed to mean ? You don't like the fact that I'm rude ? Then why are you even trying to talk to me all the time in the first place ?" "because Mr. Martin I am not like you, I don't like making anyone feel uncomfortable, but you have mastered that." Hazel said and rolled her eyes. Alan was now standing next to her as he listened to her words before letting out another irritated sigh "Oh right that's how you are. You're always trying to be the polite good girl that everyone likes. But who cares about that anyway. I don't ask you to speak to me so don't get annoyed at me when I don't feel like talking." "I never got annoyed, you got annoyed just because of my expression." Hazel passed a fake smile to him and walked Inside the room again. "Do not follow me." He stood there on the balcony and watched her walk away into the room and when she told him not to follow her, he rolled his eyes "Tch.. don't tell me what to do.." He mumbled under his breath but still followed her back into the room. "Not again Alan, I really don't want to argue with you." Hazel said as she sat on the edge of the bed. Hazel watched him as he came inside the room and made his way towards the bathroom, she stared at the door until he shut it close. He stepped into the bathroom and closed the door behind him. He let out a tired sigh before stripping down to his boxers and getting into the shower to start his morning routine. ................ Hazel walked downstairs once Alan left for his office, as she made her way towards the living room she spotted her mother in law, sitting with a lady and a girl of Hazel's age. "Oh, so the queen is finally awake." her mother in law said sarcastically and Hazel stayed silent as she turned towards the kitchen. "Where are you going?" her mother in law's voice echoed making her halt on her steps. "make something for the guests," her mother in law ordered and Hazel turned towards them. "I will inform the maids." Hazel said. her mother in law chuckled and stood up from her seat, "The maids are on leave, you can do it by yourself right?" her mother in law passed a fake smile while Hazel stood there for a few minutes, and nodded before walking inside the kitchen. As Hazel was making coffee for all of them the girl who was sitting in the living room entered the kitchen gaining Hazel's attention, "So you are Alan's wife?" the girl asked and Hazel nodded. "I am Angelia, What's your name?" Angelia raised an eyebrow and passed a smile to Hazel, "Hazel," Hazel spoke. "you know what Hazel? You ruined everything. I and Alan were supposed to get married and then you jumped in his life out of sudden." Angelia said, her eyes flickering with hatred. Hazel stayed silent and stared at Angelia, "he loved you?" Hazel asked. "No he didn't, but atleast I am better than you." Angelia said and Hazel Scoffed, "That's good for you, isn't it?" Hazel said and focused back on the coffee. Angelia rolled her eyes in annoyance and walked out of the kitchen leaving Hazel alone. .............. Hazel was in the kitchen making dinner for everyone, it wasn't like she had any issues, she loved cooking. Alan arrived at the house and parked his car in the driveway. He got out of the car and walked up to the front door, opening it and walking into the house before closing it behind him As he made his way further into the house, he could hear faint sounds coming from the kitchen. Curious as to what was going on, he made his way down the hallway towards the kitchen, the sounds getting louder as he got closer. Upon reaching the kitchen, Alan saw Hazel already working on cooking dinner He stood there for a moment, his eyes landing on Hazel's figure and watching as she moved around the kitchen preparing the meal. His mind went back to the earlier morning where they had another small argument before he left. Alan continued watching Hazel for a moment longer before finally deciding to speak up, his voice laced with confusion but also a hint of surprise "Hazel... What are you doing?" Hazel flinched at the sudden voice and her hand got burnt by the pan on the stove and she hissed, "I am making dinner." Alan's eyes widened as he watched Hazel burn her hand on the pan. His initial surprise was quickly replaced with concern as he stepped closer to her. "What the hell? Are you okay?" Hazel looked at her hand which was slightly red by now. "you shouldn't have scared me like that." He moved over and gently took hold of her hand to inspect the burn, trying to assess the severity of the injury. Alan scoffed as he continued to hold her hand and examined it. He rolled his eyes at her comment and spoke with a sarcastic tone. "Oh, so it's my fault you got startled and burned yourself?" "of course it is your fault, I got startled because you appeared out of sudden." Hazel complaint. Alan led Hazel over to the sink and turned on the cold water, letting it run over her hand to help soothe the burn. He held her hand under the water for a few moments before turning it off and reaching for a towel to dry off her hand carefully. Alan rolled his eyes again as he continued to tend to her burn. He grabbed an ice pack and wrapped it in a clean kitchen towel before pressing it gently against her hand. "I did not appear out of nowhere, you were just too focused on what you were doing that you didn't notice me before," he said, trying to shift a part of the blame onto her. "You shouldn't get hurt while cooking, you idiot," he said in a somewhat chiding tone. "I am not idiot." Hazel rolled her eyes. He couldn't help but scoff once again as Hazel rolled her eyes. He looked at her with an amused expression and spoke in a slightly teasing tone "Oh really? You say that, but you just got startled to the point where you burned yourself. I'd call that an idiotic move on your part."{Third person's pov}Hazel walked inside the room where Alan was doing something on his laptop, even though it was Sunday."Alan.... it's Sunday! let's go somewhere, maybe we can buy stuffs to decorate our baby's room..." Hazel said as she walked towards him and closed his laptop. Alan blinked in surprise as his laptop snapped shut mid-email. “Hey...”He looked up at Hazel standing in front of him with her hands on the laptop, clearly determined. And just like that, whatever he had been working on stopped mattering. His eyes drifted down instinctively to her growing baby bump before a helpless smile spread across his face.“You want to go baby shopping?”Hazel nodded excitedly. “And decorate the nursery.”Alan leaned back in his chair slowly, pretending to think hard about it. “Hm… I don’t know. I’m very busy. Important businessman things.”Hazel narrowed her eyes immediately. “Alan.”He broke into laughter almost instantly and reached for her hand, gently pulling her into his lap. “
{Third person's pov}A month later, Hazel walked towards Alan who was sitting on the couch and watching a web series, She sat on his lap with her five months old baby bump. Alan instantly paused the show the moment Hazel settled onto his lap, one hand moving automatically to support her bump while the other wrapped around her waist.“There’s my favorite person.” He murmured warmly before glancing down at her stomach.“…and my second favorite person.” Hazel laughed softly. Alan leaned down and kissed her forehead before resting his palm gently over the curve of her bump.“So…” A teasing smile appeared. “To what do I owe this beautiful interruption?”Hazel shrugged innocently and cuddled closer against his chest. “I was missing you.”Alan visibly melted. “Baby…” He sighed dramatically."You can’t say things like that when I’m already obsessed with you.”Hazel giggled quietly while Alan rubbed slow circles over her bump absentmindedly. Then suddenly, His hand froze. His eyes widened. “…
{Third person's pov}After spending a month on bed Hazel was finally recovering, and after getting the permission of her doctor they were allowed to travel back to their place. They arrived at their house, and Alan left to attend and take care of all the missed meetings. Hazel was alone when the door bell rang, she slowly stood up and opened the door just to witness Ema.The moment the door opened, Ema’s eyes immediately dropped to Hazel’s small baby bump before she dramatically gasped. “Oh my God.”Without even greeting her properly, she rushed forward and hugged Hazel carefully. “You’re finally back!”Hazel laughed softly, hugging her back. “Hi to you too.”Ema pulled back and held Hazel’s face gently, inspecting her like an overprotective sister. “How are you feeling? Are you okay? Is the baby okay? Is Alan still behaving like an overprotective bodyguard?”Hazel couldn’t help laughing again. “Yes, yes, and yes.”Ema scoffed knowingly while walking inside the apartment. “That man
{Third person's pov}It's been a week since they were at her parents' house, Alan had to postpone a lot of meetings, but anything for his wife obviously.Hazel was upstairs while Alan was sitting in the living room with her father. "Alan, You are getting a call." Hazel came out of the room with his mobile phone and suddenly her legs slipped on the stairs. There was just her yelling and everyone was shocked. "HAZEL!!!" Her father and Alan shouted at the same time as they saw her falling down the stairs and ran towards her. Everything happened too fast. One second Hazel was standing there with his phone in her hand and the next, she slipped.Alan’s entire body reacted before his mind could even process it. He sprinted toward the stairs, his heart stopping the moment he saw her hit the steps.By the time he reached her, Hazel was at the bottom of the staircase, visibly shaken and in pain. “Baby... baby, look at me.”Alan dropped to his knees beside her instantly, his hands trembling
{Third person's pov}Hazel and Alan arrived at Hazel's parents after a very long journey.Hazel and Alan were sitting in the living room with her mother and father, her head rested on her mother's shoulder. Hazel’s mother gently stroked her hair while smiling softly, clearly emotional herself after seeing her daughter after so long.“My child…” She murmured lovingly. “You’ve become thinner.”Alan immediately looked up from the cup of tea in his hand. “She absolutely has not.”Hazel’s father chuckled quietly while Hazel laughed against her mother’s shoulder.Alan leaned back slightly on the couch, one arm stretched comfortably behind Hazel, his posture relaxed in a way it rarely was outside home.“She’s actually eating more than me nowadays.” He added with mock seriousness. Hazel shot him a look.“Alan.”“What?” He smiled innocently.“I’m just reporting facts.”Her mother laughed warmly before looking at Alan with softened eyes. “You take good care of her.”Alan’s expression immediate
{Third person's pov}3 months later...Hazel was standing in front of the mirror and looking at her very tiny baby bump, She caressed it softly with a soft smile lacing her face."Will I be a good mumma?" She asked herself, and then her attention went to Alan, who just came back from the office. He was standing near the door and admiring his wife, "You are back." Hazel said as she turned around to look in to his direction. Alan looked completely mesmerized for a moment. His gaze dropped instinctively to the tiny bump beneath her hand before slowly lifting back to her face, his expression softening in that quiet way that only Hazel ever got to see.“Yeah…” He murmured softly. “I’m back.”He closed the door behind him slowly, like he didn’t want to disturb the moment he had walked into.“You know…” A faint smile tugged at his lips as he loosened his tie.“I think that might be my favorite sight in the world now.” Hazel’s cheeks warmed instantly.Alan walked toward her without taking hi

{Third person's pov}Hazel was sitting in her bedroom upstairs, She was curled up on the floor, her hands clutched her knees and her head was placed on the edge of the bed. Her face had dried tear marks, and her cheeks were still red where his mother hit her. It was late at night when Alan return
{Third person's pov}Alan noticed the way her breath hitched when his thumb brushed over her lip, and a slow smirk curled at the corner of his mouth. He leaned in just slightly—close enough that she could feel the warmth of him, but not so close as to be improper. "Don't look down," he murmured,
