{Alan's pov}

I walked downstairs and witnessed Ana in the living room alone.“Where is mom?” my sudden question took her attention and she shifted her gaze from her phone towards me, "she is in her room."

taking information from Ana I walked towards her room and knocked on the door. When I didn't get a response I said “mom I am coming inside” before getting inside.

She was sitting on the edge of the bed.

I walked towards her and kneeled down in front of her.

“Mumma?” I called her out and she just stared at me.

“I am sorry for not informing you before making this decision, but Hazel is really a nice girl.” I explained and She just rolled her eyes. I hope she understands me. I am mature enough and I won't just marry anyone - well I just did that.

“She is good or not has nothing to do with me. All that matters is that you married her without my consent.” She complained and I looked down. I understand she is angry but How can I make her understand.

“Mom I am sorry and I hope you two will get along well, I believe actually.” I stated and she stayed silent.

“I have to go to the office , some urgent work has come, I will return soon.” I informed her before going out.

“And mom I want to hold a reception tomorrow, so that people can know she is my wife.”her face didn't show happiness. oh mom please forgive me.

“But what's the need?” her question stopped me from stepping out, turning around I looked at her.

“It is needed mom.” I declared and walked out.

………..

{Third person’s pov}

Hazel's sleep broke by the sound of knocking, she got up from the bed and walked towards the door.

She opened the door just to witness her mother in law, she stepped aside to let her in.

She came inside and roamed her eyes all over the room, her eyes stopped on a bag.

“What's your name?” His mother asked.

“Hazel,” Hazel replied, while her gaze was cascaded down.

“Tomorrow will be your reception, make sure you look presentable.” His mother Informed Hazel who just nodded in response.

“And never ever think that you can be a member of this family.” His mother declared making Hazel disappointed.

“I will try my best,” Hazel replied, as the thought that he loved Aria and wanted to marry her was roaming in her mind. His mother left and Hazel walked inside the Washroom to freshen up.

{Alan's pov}

I came back and walked inside my room just to find it empty. Maybe she is in the bathroom.

I sat on the couch and opened my laptop, mailing some information to my secretary.

The wardrobe’s door opened, gaining my attention and I looked up just to witness her patting her face.

“Your mother told me tomorrow is the reception” I looked at her and then focused back on my laptop before nodding.

“The dress you are supposed to wear will arrive in the morning.” I informed her and she nodded walking towards the balcony.

She was standing on the balcony, after sending the mail I walked towards her and stood beside her.

“Done with work?” She asked and I hummed in response.

“Alan there are millions of languages and still you choose to talk in cow language?” huh? is she taunting me or making fun of me? well that line was great tho.

“Hm hm hm” she copied me making me Chuckle - she is cute.

“You can smile?” what does she mean?

“Can't I?” I questioned back and she shook her head as in no.

“It's the first time I am witnessing you smile.” She explained, well true I barely smile.

There was a knock on the door, I walked towards the door and opened it just to witness Ana, my sister.

“Mom is calling you.” She informed me and I walked out after nodding.

*Hazel's POV*

“Hey Hazel!” Ana spoke and I smiled before replying to her with a “hi”.

“You can feel comfortable, no need to be awkward and you can ask me for anything.” She assured me and I nodded with a warm smile.

“By the way, how did you and My brother get married?” She asked, well it's a long story still I explained everything to her and she nodded.

“Don't worry, Alan may act emotionless but he is truly a gentleman.” She explained and I smiled, of course he is a gentleman.

“Take care of yourself, I will take my leave now.” She stated and walked out of the room.

{Hazel's pov}

Why did Liam leave me like this? if he wasn't happy why he acted like he was. he could have just told me, I wouldn't have been attached with him. I was so engrossed in my thoughts that the sudden voice Startled me, "Let's have dinner," when did he come in?.

"I am not hungry," I am genuinely not hungry, my appetite have died I guess. without speaking further he walked out of the room and Sighed in relief, thank God he isn't stubborn and didn't argue about why I am not eating and everything.

I was just scrolling my phone When the door opened gaining my attention, I wasn't engrossed this time.

the maid came in and placed tha plate on the table as I stared at her for an answer.

"ma'am, Alan sir told me to serve your dinner in the room only," I will take my statement back, he is stubborn too. I told him I am not hungry can't he understand such a simple thing?

"I am not hungry, please take that back," The maid didn't budge and stood like that, don't tell me they are stubborn too, I will cry now.

"ma'am sir will throw me out of this house if I take this back, he gets angry easily." intresting so the Silent introvert is a angry bird, not bad.

"alright, leave it here and you may leave." she nodded and walked outside while I stared at the plate, I can't eat. I don't want to eat.

after a while the door opened again and I looked at just to witness Alan, he walked towards the couch and looked at the table.

"why is the food untouched?" of course because I didn't touch it, "I told you I am not hungry," I shrugged off and I could feel his stare on although I wasn't looking towards him.

"then throw it away," was he about to yell? good thing he didn't. "don't try to raise your voice," My bold statement made him clench his jaw.

"I am not raising my voice yet," I rolled my eyes and Sat on the edge of the bed.

"then do it, who's stopping you?" Let's see how loud he can yell.

"Hazel are you testing my patience?" huh? of course I am But I am not being serious and you are being serious.

"just testing how angry you can get," chuckling I walked towards the balcony and I could hear his footsteps fade away.
