Chapter Twenty-four

The truck kept moving, dragging Lucy along with it, it smashed a taxi and compressed Lucy in between them. At this point, blood began to ooze out from, Lucy's injured legs and hands.

At a point, Lucy rolled over the top of the taxi and fell on the ground, hitting her head hard on a rock as blood gushed out from indescribable places on her body.

The taxi which it kept dragging with it rolled down the roadside, thereby putting a stop to the movement of the truck.

“Lucy!” Savannah ran towards her with tears running like a river down her cheeks.

“Someone call the ambulance!” She said while looking up to the crowd which had gathered there.

After a while, she heard the peeping sound of the ambulance and the siren sound, indicating the presence of the police men. The police blocked pedestrians from the crime scene by using a band.

“Hey young lady, who are you?”A police man walked up to her and asked her.

“Sir, I'm."she left her words hanging in the air as the nurses helped Lucy into the amb
