Chapter 10: Cookie
Today is April 29, 2025 I just arrived back at the Mrithun palace. I haven’t slept a wink thinking that Freya is here. I should stop this non-sense. I don’t know what would happen if Bella finds this out. I should be cautious of my surroundings while I stay here. The maids can always start a rumor when they see us together. I shall remain far away from her as much as possible. No contact at all. I should do that starting by focusing on my report.

The smell of good food reached the nostrils of Mrs. Welching. She described the smell was like a party in town as the people were happily singing as they enjoy the food and music. The day was 23rd of April. The day she will be marrying the man who have been quite busy in entertaining himself by making her furious every time he has a chance to. Her wedding dress was a turtle neck but used a very intricate lace. Her sleeves were a little loose so the eye it looked like a cape behind her. Her bodice was filled with little yellow gems. The gems were a gift from the marques. Since she was about to become a marques I should abide by this social rules so she needed to incorporate the gems given to her. They danced in her favorite classical music, Nocturne op.9 No.2, it was a song she recommended when they talked to the person who will handle their reception. The man asked what kind of music do they want the orchestra would be playing. She specifically to play Nocturne op.9 No.2 for their dance. She said the song will put her in ease despite the eyes of many people watches her every step. It was very dear to her to dance in that song. It was the song both her father and she loved.Hand in hand, they walk down to the center of the place. The music was slowly getting a teensy bit louder as they reach their destination.Right foot forward, left foot backward.
