A furious look crossed Serena’s face as she watched the infuriating man sitting on her bed. Did he really think she would have let him die?. “I-you-gosh, forget I ever said anything, if you are okay please leave my room, now” Serena half yelled putting more distance between them.

Adrian tried to get out of bed but ended up falling back into it. The wolfsbane hadn't fully left his system. His gaze moved to his little hybrid captive, She was staring at him with a worried expression but her words said something else.

He knew he was acting like a jerk after she chose to take care of him instead of fleeing, but it wasn't on purpose; he had known for a while that he had judged her too quickly because of what she was.

"I'm sorry for not taking your feelings into account; it's been a while since I've had someone concerned about me; would you like to join me for breakfast?" Adrian said, hoping she would accept his peace offer. "I'll go to the kitchen and make something for us,"
