‎The next day,

‎Tamara bolted awake the moment she opened her eyes. She instantly flushed red as the memory of her dream flashed back—an image of herself being pleasured by Galvin through his caresses and burning, hot kisses!

‎She ran her fingers through her hair to shake off the dream. She turned to look at Baby Gavin, who was making little noises, seemingly enjoying playing with a piece of cloth in his hands.

‎“Good morning, Love! Mommy's love...”

‎Tamara kissed her son and looked at what he was holding with curiosity. Her brows furrowed when she realized it was Galvin's necktie!

‎“How on earth did your Daddy's necktie end up with you? Hm?” She gently pinched Baby Gavin's nose and scanned the entire room to see if Galvin was around.

‎She found no sign of Galvin, but a small box resting on the bedside table right next to her phone caught her attention.

‎She picked up the small box and opened it. A silver necklace with a diamond crescent moon pendant greeted her!

‎Tamara’s eyes widened, and she couldn't help but marvel at how breathtakingly beautiful the necklace was.

‎“Is this for me?”

‎Thinking it was Galvin's anniversary gift for her, she couldn't help but feel overjoyed and giddy. It was her very first time receiving something like this from her husband!

‎Smiling, Tamara left the bed to search for Galvin. She peeked inside the bathroom before heading out of the room and straight into the master bedroom.

‎“Galvin? Gal—”

‎Tamara froze when she was greeted by the sight of the king-size bed, which wasn't even wrinkled! She checked the bathroom; no Galvin. She walked over to his walk-in closet, but her husband wasn't there either.

‎Tamara left the master bedroom, thinking Galvin might be downstairs having breakfast. On her way, she ran into Yaya Leng, who was carrying milk for her and cereal for Baby Gavin.

‎“Good morning, Ma'am!” she greeted.

“Good morning too, Nanny. Is Galvin downstairs?”

Leng looked puzzled. “No, Ma'am. I woke up early, but I didn't see Sir. His car isn't in the garage either. Besides, Sister Luz and the others should have already served Sir's breakfast by now. So, Sir really didn't come home.”

‎If Galvin didn't come home, who was the necklace from, and how did his necktie end up with Baby Gavin?

‎“Is that so... Alright, Nanny. I'll take care of Baby Gavin myself.”

‎Tamara put the necklace box back where she found it, concluding that it wasn't meant for her. Perhaps Luz had just misplaced it while cleaning up Galvin's things.

‎Tamara locked herself in her and Baby Gavin's room all day, personally taking care of her son. She had absolutely no appetite, as her heart was heavy with resentment toward her husband.

‎Not only did he fail to come home, but he couldn't even bother to text or call to explain whwhy

She still kept thinking that the necklace might be from Galvin, but knowing him, he wasn't the type to do that for her. Whenever he did come home, it was only her body he wanted, discarding her after he was satisfied with her.

‎Her hands trembled as she held her phone, staring at a photo of Galvin planting a kiss on Maris's forehead.

‎The thought that Galvin hadn't come home because he couldn't leave Maris's side due to her pregnancy hurt her even more. It was glaringly obvious that Maris mattered more to him than she and Gavin ever did.

‎Tears streamed down Tamara's face one after another as she gazed at her child sleeping soundly in her arms.

‎Tamara wiped her cheeks when she heard a knock on the door. She saw Leng enter, seemingly looking for her.

“Nanny, Gavin and I are here on the balcony,” she informed Leng.

Leng immediately walked over to them, saying with a smile, “Ma’am, your dinner is ready.”

“I don't have an appetite to eat,” she replied softly.

‎“But Ma'am, you haven't eaten anything since earlier. You might fall sick because of that. Would you like me to just bring your food up here?”

“I'm fine. Go ahead and rest, I'll look after Baby Gavin.”Leng left reluctantly, clearly worried about her.

The mother and child remained on the balcony as Tamara stared at the dark sky, which threatened an imminent downpour.

‎The heavy rain suddenly poured, prompting Tamara to immediately stand up and bring her son inside. She laid Baby Gavin down and settled beside him, gently caressing his cheek.

‎She heard a knock on the door and closed her eyes, assuming it was Leng bringing her food again.

“Nanny, I told you I don't want—”

‎“Well, look at this! It's already eight o'clock and you're still lounging around in there! You're really enjoying your stay in my mansion a bit too much, aren't you?”

‎Tamara froze as she was met by Galvin's serious, handsome face. He stood leaning against the closed door with his hands shoved inside his pockets.

‎She blinked repeatedly; she hadn't even noticed the sound of his car arriving. She couldn't deny the brief surge of joy at seeing him, especially since she hadn't expected her husband to be home at this hour. But the moment the news she had seen crossed her mind, bitterness rushed back, and anger mixed with heartbreak swelled inside Tamara's chest.

‎“W-what are you doing here?” Tamara asked blankly—a tone that sounded completely foreign to Galvin's ears.

‎Galvin shot Tamara an angry glare, feeling deeply insulted by her question! Didn't he have every right to come home? After all, this was his mansion!

‎“This is my fucking mansion! Do you have a problem with me being fucking here?” Galvin snapped irritably.

‎“Watch your language in front of baby! At least show some effort to act like a father to my son.”

‎Galvin paused, caught off guard. For the very first time, Tamara had raised her voice at him. She was always sweet and caring whenever he was around. She was soft-spoken and very demure, never even uttering a word whenever he lost his temper!

‎Tamara scooped Baby Gavin up and walked out of the room, but Galvin grabbed her by the arm.

“We're not yet done talking!”

‎Tamara yanked her arm away from his grip. “Let go of me!”

‎She stepped out of the room and handed Baby Gavin over to Leng before heading back inside. Tamara was startled when Galvin suddenly pulled her and pinned her against the closed door.

‎“Galvino! What do you think you're doing!” Tamara protested.

Did he honestly think she would let him get intimate with her after everything she had found out? Absolutely not!

‎Galvin froze as a sharp slap landed squarely on his cheek. He was stunned; this was the first time her soft hands had ever struck his face, and what shocked him even more was that she had addressed him by his full first name!

‎Galvin licked his lower lip and tried to kiss Tamara, but he stopped dead in his tracks upon hearing her next words.

‎“Is it yours?” Tamara asked point-blank, looking him dead in the eye.

‎Even though she knew his answer would tear her apart, she forced herself to stand tall and stay strong.

“Since when, Galvino?”

‎Galvin propped his hand against the closed door before meeting Tamara’s gaze with an emotionless stare. Her face was a canvas of pure fury—something he had never seen on her before. No matter how much he messed up in the past, a little bit of affection from him was always enough to make Tamara cave in.

‎At that moment, Galvin realized that the source of Tamara’s immense rage was regarding him and his ex-girlfriend, Maris Keenly.

‎Tamara's blood boiled even hotter when she met nothing but silence from Galvin. “Speak up! I am asking you, Galvino! Why can't you say anything, huh? So... it really is true?!”

‎Galvin stared intently at his flushed, furious wife. Tamara didn't blink once as she glared at him with piercing, angry eyes.

‎Galvin’s jaw tightened. “What do you want me to fucking say, Tamara?”

“The answers I deserve, Galvino!” Tamara shouted at her husband.

‎Pain and anger were consuming her entire being. There was no trace of remorse on Galvin's handsome face—not even a shred of pity for her. He just stood there, completely confident!

‎At Lorenzo Perfume Company,‎Galvin's office was situated at the very top of the towering skyscraper. He was busy typing away on his laptop when he received a call from his lawyer.‎“I'm listening, Attorney.”‎[“Good morning, Mr. Lorenzo. I called to inform you that your divorce can now proceed.”]‎Galvino froze at what he heard. He leaned his back against his swivel chair. He had honestly thought Tamara was just speaking out of anger and playing around when she demanded a divorce.‎The Tamara he saw last night was entirely different. She was utterly furious with him, and he couldn't trace even a shred of the affection he had grown so accustomed to receiving from her.‎Where on earth was she got the courage to do something like this to him?‎“So what are her demands? How much?” he coldly asked.[‎“None, Mr. Lorenzo.”]‎Galvin’s brows knitted together. “Fuck! What do you mean none, Attorney?”‎[*She isn't asking for money, property, or anything else. Her only request is that after th

‎Crying, Tamara treated the wound on her thigh caused by the shattered vase that Galvin had swept aside. After treating her own wound, she called her friend.[‎“Hello? Tam, you called? Do you need anything? Just say the word, and I'll help you,”] Mesande greeted the moment she answered the call.‎“Sande, I’ve made up my mind. I am divorcing your brother. I know he has had a divorce agreement ready for a long time; it's just with the attorney. Could you please get it for me so I can finally sign it?”[‎“Oh my god, oh my god! Is that true? Am I hearing this right—that you’re finally leaving my brother? What happened to make you decide so quickly? Did he do something to you?”] Mesande asked worriedly.‎Tearfully, Tamara recounted everything that happened, including Galvin coming home with Maris Keenly.[‎“That absolute animal bitch! The nerve of her to step foot inside your home! And as for brother Galvin, he has absolutely no respect for you! He is really crossing the line. If it weren

‎‎“Why did you do this to me?! You are so heartless, Galvino! You are so cruel for hurting me like this!”‎Tamara’s hands were shaking with rage. She approached Galvin and repeatedly pounded her fists against his chest while tears streamed relentlessly from her eyes.‎Galvin stared coldly at his wife. For the first time, he saw her losing control in anger, and he just let her do whatever she wanted. At that moment, Galvin realized just how deeply wounded Tamara truly was.‎“Stop it, Tamara! Stop!” Galvin snapped, but Tamara refused to back down. “Don't act like this fucking loveless marriage wasn't arranged by our families! This is what my grandparents wanted, not mine! I agreed to marry you, yes! But that doesn't mean I love you!”‎Galvin only married Tamara because it was the dying wish of his late grandparents. It was the only way for him to inherit everything the old folks had left behind.‎“In case you forget, we had an agreement, Tamara! And that damn agreement of ours has long

Delicious food she had prepared for Galvin was set on the table, complete with candlelight to make their dinner more romantic.‎She sat on a chair waiting for Galvin, but the candle providing light on the table in front of her had already burned down to a stub. All the served food had gone cold, yet Galvin was still nowhere to be found.‎She was absolutely starving, but she didn’t want to eat because she would only eat with her husband. She glanced at the watch on her wrist. It was already past ten-thirty in the evening, and he still hadn’t arrived.‎She hadn't received a single call or message from him about whether he was coming home or not. She convinced herself to wait a few more minutes, but when eleven o'clock struck and he still wasn’t there, her tears finally fell as she walked away from the lifeless table.‎She wen
