We Played Again

In the past:

Faith could not have expected that she would not be able to keep her promise to Mr. Darcy once again as she stared down at the cards that she had been dealt.

While yesterday the two had battled it out in the many games of chess, Faith had discovered that Adi was a good card player also. Thus, with the rains still going hard at it, she had asked if he would be willing to teach her. Cards had always fascinated her. But sadly the only game she did know to play was Speed. And she was pretty bad at it! Somehow, she always ended up remaining the last person, her cards still in hand.

"So, which game do you want to learn?"
