A Sweat

An orange-colored twilight sky seemed to envelop the funeral today. After the sound of crying subsided, there was now only silence surrounding the mound of wet soil.

Agatha kept looking at her mother's grave. After her father passed away a few years ago, Agatha had promised to look after her mother in front of her father's grave. But she couldn't keep that promise because she couldn't help her mother in her last breath.

"I'm sorry, mom. I'm really sorry. If only I had stayed home yesterday, you wouldn't have gone to work late into the night and met the rogues. We would be having dinner together right now. I'm sorry once again." Agatha's tears fell down her cheeks as well.

"What a pity for her."

Hearing it, Chris turned around and found Elena who was looking at Agatha. Chris was silent and sighed heavily, then paid attention to Agatha who was crying at her mother's grave.

"But, isn't it too much to leave her mother here and go by herself to another pack?"
