Elena Asher

Elena Asher, the evil daughter of Raymond Asher, often bullied Agatha because a lot of people thought Agatha was prettier than her. Agatha had a small face, long eyelashes, and her hair was long and gray. Ever since Agatha came to her house five years ago, Elena had always been dissatisfied with her own appearance.

“Dear, why are you daydreaming?”

Florencia's question broke Elena's daydream. The girl turned to her mother and smiled slightly. “Nothing. Where do you want to go, Mom?”

“Kitchen, I want to make coffee. Do you want some?”

Elena shook her head, then asked, “I'll just have some tea.”

Florencia nodded with a smile, then began to walk away, leaving Elena in the backyard alone.

“Hah ….” Elena let out a long sigh.

Then, her steps were drawn to one of the backyard benches near the fish pond. The backyard was her favorite place to relax her mind.

Actually, Elena couldn't sleep last night because she was thinking about the annual ball of the northwest packs that would be held in the next two weeks at Moon Stone Pack. Not only was she looking forward to meeting the alpha of the Blood Moon Pack, she was also worried that Agatha would steal the show.

“That bitch won't be able to show her face now. You don't have to worry, Elena. You are the prettiest,” Elena’s monologue.

A smile was now etched on Elena's beautiful face. The girl then looked up and closed her eyes. She breathed in the fresh morning air deeply.

A few minutes later, there was the sound of footsteps walking toward Elena.

“Sorry, Elena. Here’s your glass of tea.” Agatha placed the glass she was carrying onto the table beside Elena.

Hearing a voice that was very annoying to her, Elena immediately opened her eyes and adjusted her sitting position.

“Why did you bring it? Where's my mom?” Elena asked while looking sharply at Agatha.

“Mrs. Asher is having breakfast in the dining room. She told you to hurry there right now.”

“What if I don’t want to?" Elena got up from her seat, then walked over to Agatha. "Anyway, if I have to go there, why do you keep bringing the tea here?” Elena asked, glancing at the glass on the table.

“I'm just in case you don't want to have breakfast in the dining room. At least, you can stay here and drink the warm tea,” Agatha explained.

Elena smiled wryly, then a sinister plan flashed through her mind at this moment. She took the glass containing the warm tea and poured it over Agatha's head.

“Unfortunately, I don't want to drink the tea you brought. So, please enjoy the tea hahaha.” Elena laughed in satisfaction, then walked away leaving the drenched Agatha looking down.

Agatha bit her lip, holding back the tears that almost came out of her eyes. The mask she had been wearing was already wet, so she took it off. Fortunately, the tea she brought was already warm, so it didn't hurt her head and body.

There was no day without bullying for Agatha. The pretty girl with gray hair was used to being treated like this by Elena. But still, it hurt every time she was mistreated.

Agatha sat limply on the backyard grass. The tears that she had been holding back from escaping, finally made their way down her thin cheeks.

“Not now, Tha. Mom can see you and will be sad too,” Agatha muttered, while wiping her tears.

However, Agatha never once showed her sadness to her mother. She always tried to look strong by putting a beautiful smile on her face.

Meanwhile, in the Blood Moon Pack, Christopher Elard, or more commonly known as Chris, was looking at himself in the mirror. The alpha's topless body was now visible in a mirror that was large enough to fit him.

“Shit!” Chris cursed while messing up his hair.

Recently, Chris has been feeling frustrated because he hasn't found his mate yet. Chris was very depressed because the longer an alpha was missing a mate, the more aggressive his wolf became. If unmated for too long, the wolf would dominate the shape shifter, and rational thought would cease to exist.

Lately, his pack has noticed that his patience has been thin. He was snapping at the slightest of nuisances and it has everyone worried. It was now his mission to find his mate and restore balance to himself and his pack. But the problem was that Chris couldn't find his mate anywhere. He has tried looking all over for his mate, but still couldn't find her.

"Hah … where else should I look for her?" Chris held the mirror in front of him with both hands, then looked at his own reflection.

Not long after, there was a knock on his bedroom door.

“Come in!”

The sound of the door opening. Now, a man with a quite big body and almost the same height as Chris appeared.

“Oh, Lewis? What's going on?” Chris asked as he turned around, walked over to the bed and sat on the edge of it.

Lewis sat himself down on the sofa. The beta then looked at the alpha. “Have you opened the invitation that was sent to you last week?”

“Invitation? Which one?” Chris furrowed his brows, trying to remember the invitation Lewis was referring to.

Lewis let out a long sigh. It looked like Chris's best friend and right-hand man was quite tired of dealing with him.

“Invitation to the annual ball of the northwest packs that will be held in the next two weeks at Moon Stone Pack!” Lewis explained.

“Then?” Chris asked with his innocent face.

“Hahaha!" Lewis laughed sarcastically, then leaned forward. "Oh my God, Chris! Are you kidding me?!”

Chris giggled, then got up from his seat. His steps were led to the wooden cabinet beside Lewis. He took out a white shirt from there.

“I've read it, Lew,” Chris replied as he put on the shirt he had just picked up, then buttoned the buttons one by one.

“Then, you want to come, right? I've already told them that you're coming.”

Chris was silent for a few seconds. After he finished putting on his clothes, he sat down next to Lewis. “Even though I don't want to, I still have to come, right?”

Lewis nodded his head. “Who knows? You might find your mate there.”

“I didn't want to expect too much like before, Lew. It's tiring, looking everywhere but still not finding her."

"Be patient, Chris. This is all orchestrated by the Moon Goddess. You should be able to find your mate soon."

Chris let out a long sigh and said, "I hope so."

Lewis patted Chris on the shoulder, then got up from the sofa. "Okay, I'm going to eat now."

After getting a nod from Chris, Lewis walked out of the room, leaving Chris alone.

"Will I be able to find her this time?"
