He stood right before me, despair and defeat framing his face as he stared at me. It was my father, Warrior Fords.

"You have become heartless, Sabrina, just like your mother. That has been my biggest fear for years, actually." His voice was flat, and cold, contempt clouding his eyes as he spoke.

And looking at him, looking at the man who used to call me his little princess, and comparing him with the stranger before me, I had a hard time linking them. He was unrecognisable.

"Amery almost took her life. Doesn't that move your heart?" He asked, tremors of anger accompanying his voice.

" Like I said, it was her choice. Why should I fret over it? If you are so worried about her, maybe you should watch over her. That way, she won't try to take her life, again." There was unconcealed impatience in my voice as I spoke and to my words, his face went red with anger.
