“What? Why would you-” he stuttered as he stared directly into my eyes. His stare felt like a penance stare, because I could feel my soul melting away. Frankly, he was freaking me out. I wasn't understanding why that would upset him in any way, or make him lose his nerve. Maybe my insecurities and jealousy were knocking me out of track. ALPHA DANIEL Just another day
“Ah shoot! Here we go again! These pricks think they own the School”. I mumbled, with my head down, trying to avoid eye contact with Nico and pretending not to hear her calling me. “Heihei come over here,” an elegant, demanding voice of Nico hollered, as she fished for something in her fanny pack. I knew exactly that it was a cigarette because it wasn’t the first time. After classes, Nico and her boyfriend Arnold, take thirty minutes to smoke cigarettes. It is strongly prohibited to smoke in the school compound, but the dummies from the Art department act as if they live above the rules here. They just do whatever they want. Even the principal can’t do anything about it.Since the beginning of this semester, I've been everyone’s punchbag. Anyone who wants to impress their friends or wants to show that they’re actually strong or venerated, I am the perfect board to show off. The worst of them is Linda and the ARNICO–a couple of Arnold and Nico. They have made me their maid and ashtray.
ALPHA DANIEL A bitter past
The next day, my anger was neutralized by meeting my alpha-to-be mate. I was in a good mood, so I resumed the conversation with my mother. I asked my mother the rest of the story and she told me everything. A horror story of what happened to them and how I got the three claw marks on my back– from My so-called father, Beta Mark who tried to kill me to cover the fact that he slept with my mother who was a maid in the Packhouse. I was crying the whole time. I never felt that way in my life. As if they were happening right now, I could feel and see everything she was telling me. On the other hand, ire was flooding my mind, flames of anger bursting from my stomach, all the way to an already clogged mind. Noticing what was happening to me, that I was darkening, clenching my fists in anger, hugged me out of it. "I'm so sorry Mom," I whispered through her ears as we both cried endlessly. "It's okay baby, we'll be alright" "Of all people, why Arnold's Father? The next day, it was Sunday.

♦ Abby’s POV ♦ When I arrived at my department, the transfer students had already left. The dean of studies was showing them the school. Judging by the manners the school leaders were exhibiting, clearly, something was strange. The transfer students must be some kind of officials. I entered my class and sat waiting for the next lecturer to come in. All of a sudden, the class became quiet as a grave. I didn’t look up because I knew that it must be a lecturer. “Good morning class. We are honored to welcome our newcomers, Trainors triplets!” a melodious voice of the dean of studies chimed. ‘What the hell?’ I silently whispered in awe. “We all know your names, but you can introduce yourselves to your new classmates, who might not know you already.” The lecturer said, stepping back allowing them to speak. “Hi everyone. We arrived home safely, and I tried to keep my thoughts to myself because I didn’t want him to see me as pushy and needy. Yes, I wanted him to ask me out or something, but I drifted by his waves. Now that I heard him mentioning Luna to his siblings, which must have something to do with me, I had assurance. They spent the entire afternoon with me, especially Daisy and Dylan. We had a great time together, although we just met that day. Daniel was with mom. She was showing him our cornfield and all sorts of things you can't find in the packhouse. Daisy told me they should go back to the packhouse because it was getting late, even though they have called their parents. My mother, after thanking them, told them they’re always welcome home. Daniel and Dylan came into my room to tell me they were going. Seeing Daniel in my room reminded me of how garbled my room was always. My room was everything but organized. He did me a favor and about it, because I would have died of embarrassment! Ins

♦ Abby’s POV ♦︎︎︎Days passed in a blur, and finally, it was Sunday. The day before, Daniel had told me that it was actually the Plenilunary Enthronement party. At the party, Alpha lex was going to announce his retirement. Which means that Daniel was going to succeed his father. My Daniel was finally going to be Alpha. And I was going to be his Luna. I woke up early, as usual, put on my jogging outfits, and headed down to the kitchen, grabbed a bottle of water and I got out. It was still too early that the fog covered almost everything. ♦ Abby’s POV ♦ That feeling when you don't know whether you're dreaming, that strong sense of accomplishment, or that of when you receive the most exciting news, that you forget to breathe, was all I could feel at the moment.
