I cursed Dante for inviting Tessa to the meeting. Really, why can't he just let her take a walk with Daria? This meeting, discussing this kind of matter isn't for women especially in her area of expertise.

Thanks to Dante's foolishness, I couldn't concentrate during the two-hour meeting at all. My focus is all over the place, and my attention was drawn to how these single Alphas are looking at Tessa like she's a rare gem. It made me feel the urge to gouge out their eyes one by one.

"Today's meeting is over here. We can pick it up again tomorrow." I stood up and made my announcement.
