Helena's Pov

My eyes widened as I stared at the face of the alpha in front of me. I couldn't believe that my husband was the one I am seeing because he looks looked different and he seems that he doesn't know me. Duncan has long white hair that used to be silver. Anna said earlier that his hair was silver and I also thought the same as her but turns out that Duncan's hair is white when I look at it closer. Even his eyebrows are white also. His gaze is sharp and fierce. He seems scarier now than before. His gentle gaze every time he looked at me was gone. What happened to him? Am I the one to blame for what happened to him?

"Who are you? Why are you here in my territory?" Duncan asked me in a dangerous voice.

His territory? I thought I was far from him. I never knew that my place is just near to his territory. If only I have known it, I already went home.

"I think she's deaf, Gran Alpha. I think we should kill them. We don't know if they are from your enemies," said the man beside him
