Helena's Pov

I was resting under a tree when an angry Nimfa suddenly approached me and strongly slapped my face. I didn't expect what she did so I couldn't avoid her palm hitting my face.

"You really have a thick face, Helena! Deron wants to marry you but you have the guts to refuse him! How dare you do that to him! Do you know how much he wants to marry you?" she angrily shouted at me while glaring at me.

I quickly stood up and gives back the slap that she gave me. She has no right to slap me and I won't allow anyone to slap me because of a man.

"First of all, you don't have the right to slap me. Remember that, Nimfa. And if you hurt me again, that's not all you will get from me. Second, I will not marry a man whom I don't love no matter how much he wants to marry me. Shouldn't you be happy because I won't marry the man that you love so you have hope for him now that I openly rejected him?
